This is for most 8 cup French Presses. I used it on a 4 cup and also kept on the two cloth filters with it. After a few days of use, the fit got better; and it now filters very well.

French Press screens not used for intended purpose
I wanted the screens for a presto percolator in order to stop grounds from going into the coffee. I had to do some modifying but they do work. I cut out the metal ring on one screen to put in the bottom of my basket and I trimmed down the outer edge of a separate screen for the top.
