Attractive and functional
I bought this to use in my container of mixed nuts for portion control. This is a 1/4 cup scoop and just the right size. It fits nicely in my container and looks nice in there, too. It’s always a bonus when something is both functional and pretty. I haven’t had it long, but it seems very sturdy. Nice and smooth, so no worries about rough edges or splinters. Very happy with it.

Its a Perfect Sizing. Mind you i didnât purchse for cooking or baking. I bought it to measure my pups food daily when i feed him. Its perfect.

Nice, but sand the coating off.
I got this because it was supposed to be plain wood and all natural, but it had a coating of something. Maybe it was just an oil, but I was truly concerned about it being either a polyurethane or a lacquer. The whole point of buying this was to have a measuring cup for my sourdough starter that is completely absent of all chemicals and plastics, so I was a little bit irritated. I ended up hand sanding mine, which took about 20 minutes, and then I covered it in hot olive oil. I don’t know what they used, but it sure looked like a lacquer. It’s overall very high quality. I would definitely buy another one if I needed it, especially if I didn’t have to sand off whatever they spray them with.
