Customers say
Customers find the tea infuser works well and is convenient to use, with the right size for loose tea and easy cleaning. The build quality receives mixed feedback, with some saying it’s well-made while others find it cheaply made. The lid closure and tea leaf retention also get mixed reviews – while some report the lid secures tightly and leaves don’t leak out, others mention it doesn’t close well and leaves escape.

Received item on time and in good shape
These are the best thing since sliced bread (which I do not eat, lol). Since I started using loose-leaf tea, I have tried everything for ease of use and finally came across these. They came in good shape which is surprising since the box they came in was crushed (it is quite flimsy), which is why I gave low stars for giftable, otherwise, they are. They are easy to clean, I do not put them in the dishwasher, I just clean them immediately after use so they are always ready for my next batch of tea.

Good quality
Steel, easy to clean, and ease of use. Iâm happy with them. They work very well. Also the steel is a thicker gauge, not thin and cheap.

Decent for a single cup of tea
I’m using these for various loose leaf teas. A typical cup of tea calls for 2 grams of leaf and 6 to 8 oz of water. A standard american coffee cup holds 8-12 oz of water so I usually use 3g.These fit 2g well. 3g also fits good when dry but once the water’s soaked in, they’ve fully expanded to the size of the “tea ball” so don’t expect to use much more for big cups of tea.I’m rating this not off some gold standard but compared to anything similar I’ve had. For that, 4 stars.First of all… It has holes. You’re likely going to get some particles in your cup. Even a proper teapot with an infuser will have tea in it, it just usually remains in the bottom of the pot after pouring. Compared to the cheap tea balls I’ve used recently (and not so cheap) I get much less. It’s about what I’d expect and about the same as if I made it in my tea pot. You learn to just not drink the last little bit of the cup.Material … Easy to clean. Looks decent enough. Not too flimsy but could take some damage of one were to not be careful. The top screws off and on slightly. On one of these, it’s rather loose to where I have to double check it but the important part is it’s tight enough to stay and no tea comes through. The other infuser, the lid is nice and snug. These aren’t manufactured perfectly. I use a scale for my tea and had to do a double take. I tared the scale and added tea to the one then swapped it out for the other as I was making my wife a cup also. There was a 9 gram difference. There’s a big sign quality control isn’t 100% on these so I’m not surprised some people are experiencing issues with theirs.Anywho -> Take off lid, stick in tea, put on lid, stick in cup, pour on hot water. Easy easy. These coupled with an electric kettle can save a lot of cleaning time vs a teapot. They clean nice and easily after dumping the tea and removing any tea which may have wedged it’s way into the holes – like with any infuser.

Amazing Quality Considering the Price
I received mine on March 12, 2022. I’ve used it every day. I read the negative ratings prior to purchasing it. The price was so low I figured it wasn’t a loss if the product did not work out for me. I use it every morning. I rinse it out after each use. I air dry it in a dish drain. It hasn’t rusted so far. The top latches to the base easily. It does not loosen during use. I prefer this over a strainer because sometimes the tea leaves will escape a strainer. It’s a good product for the cost.

Have to be careful with the lid
These are ok if you don’t make a lot of tea, but I have found them to be too small for how much tea I make. The lids also will pop off if you don’t clip them together carefully, and the little ring that attaches the chain to the lid isn’t stainless steel, it’s very flimsy. I ended up getting larger containers that have the screw on lids. I make Masala chai (spiced tea) and boil my spices. I make 2-3 32 oz jars worth every couple of days, so these were just too small for me.

Great quality and easy to use and clean
Shipped in a timely manner and works as expected. The loose leaf tea we buy works well with these infusers and are easy to clean afterwards (I recommend dumping the tea leafs out while still moist – easier to clean out of the mesh). The lid also fits securely and is easy to open and close but won’t leak any tea leaves out. The infusers holds a good amount of tea leaves as well. This will not leak out leaves unless you’re using a straight powder like substance or the very end of the tea that has tiny powdered crumbs. Otherwise it has help up well overtime!
