They are cheap but work very well
I havent used these on hard to scoop items but softer items like a good soft ice cream and fillings for baking they have worked great without any issues. Having 3 different sizes have come in handy as well.

A hit with cake mixes and soft cookie dough
These work well with batters and cookie dough. I am not for sure about all ice cream, but mine damaged the scoop. I guess hard ice cream you will need to avoid. Only use on soft serve. Mine bent trying to get ice cream, not to mention hurt my hand as well.

Cheap!! Awful! Broke On 1st Use!!
I don’t write reviews, but I wish someone had warned me. I had thought it seemed too good to be true (I know, I know), but I also thought I should give it a shot… just… in… case.I made a batch of chocolate chip cookie dough (delish but I digress), and literally on my 3rd scoop it broke. First, it was the part inside the scoop that helps scrape the dough out. Well, that bent backward to where it was protruding from the scoop. instead of lying inside it. I tried to push it back in & it was so (incredibly) thin that it bent. Then I thought I could skip the whole inside scraper part & just use it to scoop & then shake it over the cookie sheet to get it to release but when I did that, it completely came apart. It literally crumbled in my hand! The spring came out when I squeeze it & after that, the whole mechanism crumbled into pieces. This is by far the worst thing I have purchased on Amazon. Which is, believe me, saying something!

Really only suitable for soft products
These scoops work fine, theyâre similar to the cafeteria style scoops that you see in high school. They were great for cookie dough, and work OK for soft homemade ice cream, that being said I would not recommend these for store bought gallons of ice cream. The rotating arm is just not strong enough. These came apart after a few bowls of hard ice cream.

I had to update my review for these scoops. They are hard to use as you can never get a good scoop of literally anything using these. Anything you scoop will get stuck in every little crevasse and it just stays in the scoop, wont let go of the scoop. I really wanted to like these but I really hate them after a couple months of use 🙁
