Customers say

Customers find the coffee storage container effective at keeping beans fresh and appreciate its clear glass design. The container is roomy enough for a pound of coffee and easy to use, with one customer noting it works better than pump containers. While the vacuum seal creates a tight seal, some customers report that the lid cracks in several places.

    replacing after 8 years
I’ve had one of these for 8 years now. I got the clear one because I like to see how much coffee is left easily and I keep it in a cabinet out of the light. The lid has cracked a few times and I had to tape it, but it held up well after taping it and keeps a nice vacuum seal, keeping my coffee fresh.I liked it well enough that after 8 years, I looked at some other options and decided to go with this one again!

    well worth it
ok know this they are not a vacuum, why cant all of you read this, they say it pushes out bad , well pretty simple, they are well made plastic, tops are made of thick plastic , great for coffee, sugar, I buy a pound not the small ones and they hold this very well, and yes the coffee stays fresh, yep I get mine ground, ground will hold its oils and flavors for 23 days come on people as a barista , yep a black shirt , im certified and have make many trips, I learned about beans vers. ground, if a dark bean it will hold up to 24 days fresh if a light bean better to get beans and grind yourself they only hold 16 days of freshness, you do not have to have beans in home to grind, but don’t buy the grind on the shelf then you will lose flavor and don’t keep in freezer this will dry any coffee out so back to product, as you close it it pushes air out holds a vacuum wear you have to push in button to get it to release from container, so these are the best I have seen and used for the price, you wont go wrong plus they look great.

Needed something to store my coffee in!
This product has worked well for purchase goals. I’m currently considering getting more for sugar and other storage options. It can be difficult at times to remove lid or put back on but this is probably user error by not compressing button deep enough or expecting it to come off easier. One has to remember you are purchasing this for its ability to seal the product via a vacuum, thus it is not going to be that easy to get it off. Generally though this can be removed with one hand using the weight of the containers product as opposing force. Maybe slightly expensive for what it is but overall it’s not a cheap or easy to break product so I’m fine with the cost given it protects the internal product(coffee) as desired. This purchase was made several months ago and I have had no issues with the product to date.

    It’s bigger than you think…
{See edit below!) Just be warned: I bought this because it is sold as a “1 pound” container – but check the dimensions before you buy – it’s big enough to hold probably 2 or more pounds of coffee beans. Having said that, it closes quite snugly but it is not completely air-tight. It’s made so well that I’m going to order the 1/2 pound one which I think — based on the dimensions — should hold a 12-ounce bag of the coffee beans I use.EDIT: I gave this to my son, and he says it exactly holds one pound of coffee beans PLUS a small coffee measure. I forgot that most coffee is sold in 12-ounce bags now. Both of us love this container – the lid fits very snugly and keeps the coffee fresh. I use the 1/2 lb size now and just put all the beans in that will fit when I open a new bag, and use up the beans in the bag for the 3 or 4 ounces that won’t fit. The lid fits so snugly that you can lift the container up by the lid and it won’t come off until you press the button on the side of the lid.

Great quality made food/coffee storer for decent price
Not top of the line, but does excel comparably to airtight containers significantly more expensive & complex. Added bonus, while there don’t appear to be any of these containers made in the US, Europe, etc. (unless you want to give up your arm in exchange) is it’s quality made in Taiwan, which is way better than Chinese crap that can be more expensive & will still likely either not do as well or will break within couple months.

    Vacuum like seal is……
The vacuum like seal is awesome. It’s not a true vacuum seal but pretty close. I am using my container for ground coffee. Since I brew alot of coffee, it’s only in the container for a short time before I put in some fresh grounds. I’m going to purchase a few more for other stuff like decaf coffee, and coffee beans.

    Works as expected
Gets used daily, I think so of the reviews do not understand the product. So it has a one-way value so that when you close the container, it pushes out the excess air and creates a vacuum seal. There is still air in the container, but no air is allowed in our out.We put our coffee in the container, and we open and close it at least once a day, it is simple to open and close once you get the hang of it. Our coffee stays fresh till the end, and we put in about a week’s worth of coffee in the container at a time.If something were to happen to it, I would buy another one.

I like to buy coffee beans in bulk, and I have some smaller containers for weekly usage. So this is the back-up option for storing more beans than I would use in a week. Seals very well. A well-made product.

I’m using these for coffee beans, and the beans stay fresh. The cap has a very simple mechanism which is robust.
