Great Simple Mug
This mug is great. I usually pour coffee before I leave for work in the morning, and it retains just enough heat to allow me to enjoy the beverage during my commute. It is also very nice how simple the design is, there is nothing to delaminate or fall apart like there is with some of the double wall “insulated” travel mugs out there. The only thing I would like more is if it could be purchased in solid plain colors like white.

I love my Smiley Face Mug
The Smiley Face Mugs looks just like the picture. It feels fairly solid, not too heavy, not too light. I wash it in the dishwasher but not the lid because I am afraid it may warp. The lid does not screw on or snap on like other mugs but it still stays in place with some type of washer (I’m not sure what else to call it). You slide the lid to one side or the other to open or close the spout. I like using it at home to keep my coffee hot. I live in South Florida and have the A/C and ceiling fans running just about year-round which can cool off my coffee quickly. I don’t have to worry about animal hair or knats getting in my coffee either. Hey, it’s Florida, we’ve got bugs. It may be a little tricky to use in a car because of the handle but this depends on your cupholder.

This mug gets smiles and comments everywhere I go. It may be a small thing but it’s uplifting to people, which is wonderful. I’ve purchased four of these so far: first one I destroyed accidentally against my desk; the second one my wife destroyed accidentally by dropping it on the kitchen floor (please don’t read anything into that!!!); the third one was stolen from the break room at work (and yes I’m always on the lookout for it!); but the fourth one stayed up! (Monty Python reference, sorry). It’s a bit chipped and cracked now but it’s taken plenty of knocks. I see that as somehow symbolic. 🙂 Anyway, get it, you’ll make someone’s day a bit brighter.

I got this mug simply because of the smiley face. It literally makes me feel good every time I look at it!I like its size also, tall & slim.”But”, what I don’t care for is:1. It’s fragile. So don’t take it with you as a travel mug.2. The mug itself becomes very hot to the touch when used with coffee, tea, etc.So now it sits on a shelf where I can see it & get the feel good feeling from its smiley face.

I really liked it when I first took it out of the box, But on the front of it there is a drip of the paint that shows under the glaze. It is noticeable so not sure if Iâll gift it but donât have time to order another so itâs up end the air.

Such a cute cup. I love that it is ceramic because most travel mugs aren’t and they all end up making your coffee taste like old coffee. It doesn’t keep the coffee hot for very long however. That doesn’t affect me much because I like drinking my coffee hot and usually drink it fast.
