I love it. Ut actually held all of my tea leaves inside and didnât let any escaped. It made it to where I can actually drink all of my loose tea leaves at my house not just at my momâs house. It also came with a small tray to put the ball on when your done steeping.

Love the amethyst crescent moon attachment. It comes off to make cleaning easier. The hinge is little wobbly but still works for loose tea.

It’s not all it’s chalked up to be.
The product definitely takes some getting used to. With any tea ball, there’s going to be some amount of tea that escapes the brewer. I had decent to high hopes for this brewer though after seeing all the good reviews. When I got it, I noticed that it was pretty and in good condition. The mechanism that clasps the ball closed is very poorly designed though. The gap between to the two half-spheres is too big. Because of this, a fair amount of tea escapes even when you’re not swishing the ball around. Also, the brewer’s pores are too wide. Once again, this allows a good amount of tea to come out of the ball.After making a few cups of tea with this and trying out different techniques, I’ve found a good method that justifies buying this product. I prepare my brewer and put it in the cup before the water is ready. I then pour the hot water down the side of the cup so it doesn’t create as much movement within the cup. I let the brewer steep without swishing it around or stirring the water. Keeping it completely still will minimize the tea that comes through the ball. I gently remove the ball from the tea and place it on the tiny saucer the brewer came with.Overall, this product is okay. If you have loose tea with big chunks (like chunks of candied fruit, etc.) then this should work great for you. Making fruity tea that has lots of big pieces with this is easy and doesn’t leave a lot of residue. If you have tea with very fine particles, look elsewhere because it’ll be as if you just poured your grains right into the cup. I would suggest going to a brick and mortar tea store to find a tea ball that has very tiny pores for that type of tea. The crescent crystal is a nice touch as well.

I bought this to use for single cups of ground coffee. It’s not good for coffee but it’s really beautiful and I’ve now switched to tea leaves. Really pretty little product
