Exactly what I was looking for!
These are exactly what I wanted. After reading some of the reviews others left, I worried what I may find once I opened the envelope the tea bags arrived in. My fears where unfounded, as I found the tea bags to be perfect.. I boiled them in hot water, like another had suggested and then washed them with a little dish soap and rinsed them very well, before drying them flat on a towel. They were all dry and ready the next day. I made tea with one of my many loose leaf teas and it came out perfect. It doesn’t require much steeping time and the tea bag was extremely easy to clean afterwards. All I had to do was turn it inside out and dump the used tea leaves, then I simply ran it under water to rinse clean and left it to dry in my dish drainer. It dried quickly and looks almost new except for getting a little dyed by the tea. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who loves tea!

Loose tea bags
So good, so far! No complaints! I give this product 2 thumbs up! I’ve only used it twice. It didn’t disappoint. My teas came out perfectly. I don’t recall ordering any reusable bags. One of my teas, stained the bag. I’ve thrown them in the garbage.I’ve ordered the steel tea ball infuser in the past from Amazon, I was so disappointed. Loose tea was floating in my cup. I ended up giving it away.

Easy to use
We decided to try loose tea leaves again for extra flavor over commercial desiccated tea in tea bags. Someone gave us a deluxe gift with cotton tea bags. I never imagined there was such a thing as a cotton tea bag. So, I searched online and found these. They are very simple to use, with drawstrings at either corner. There’s no smell to the cotton, which I thought may be present and thus a drawback. I deducted one star because they advertise these as “reusable” bags. Technically, they may be. But I can’t imagine the mess with trying to clean out the used tea leaves. Best (for me) is just to toss the used tea bag, filled with tea leaves, into the trash. One tip: tea leaves expand a lot when doused in hot water. So, don’t overfill the tea bag â just over 1/3 seems about right.

perfect I’ve tried metal, paper, micro mesh, this is the best!
I love natural materials! Go green or go home! I bought a 50 pack but probably only need ten!they are reusable! just flip inside out an hand wash for a few seconds!excellent material allows for fast steeping without allowing “floaties” to get through!its also not too tight a fabric to keep you waiting for ever for it to steep enough!

Need to be finished after received
These reusable tea bags are decent cotton muslin. The drawstrings are probably just cotton. However, the bags are not ready to use when you receive them in the mail! First, the cotton strings need to be tied or sewn together to keep from fraying. Second, (as shown in picture) the fabric ends are not finished and need to be either serged or cut with pinking shears to prevent fraying. Thirdly, the bags need to be washed in hot water and a bit of detergent. After all that I also recommend sewing on the original seams with a shorter length stitch as the ones the bags arrived with are too long and allow the tea leaves to escape and/or the sewing is extremely poor that it comes undone quite easily. The sewing looks like it was done on one of those bobbinless kids’ sewing machines as all the starts & stops are unfinished and there are strings everywhere. After all the steps are done above, I tied a ceramic bead to the string to keep the tea bag from sinking inside the cup when brewing. It may have just been easier to make my own with fabric from the store!

Works well
I loved these bags. I’ve used 2 bags and I’ve used them twice now and they work perfectly for what I wanted them to do. I have hibiscus flowers that are a deep purple color and other flowers I brew my own tea with. Both can stain the bags, but I find if I wash them with soapy water and put them in the dishwasher right after, they are back to the normal color they were. They hold up really well too. I’m so glad I got them!! Highly recommend!!

Ed Hopeful –
i used them for an afternoon tea to create a variety of different teas. they were roomy and so held the ingredients no problem but they’re quite stringy and very difficult to clean. i gave up after the eighth wash for some but am hoping to figure out a way later. i would given 4.5 stars if they weren’t slightly falling apart inside which was making the cleaning harder

Hand washed them beforehand. Tea stains the bags but they clean nicely and are easy to use!
