Works fine
I avoid using this in the microwave or the dishwasher. I wash it by hand and it has lasted me without any problems or signs of wear.It’s worth the money if you don’t treat it like a more expensive glass cup. just take care of it and it’ll last you fine.

Used to make jello. Boiling water RUINED the inside surface
First order arrived in a plastic bag but was cracked and useless. Second order arrived in good condition. However, when adding boiling water to mix Jello, the interior surface was ruined. Plastic was crazed and the surface texture âbubbledâ. Don’t waste money on this plastic versionâlook for a glass version instead.

Nice clear measuring cup with several areas labeled, in order to get multiple measurements.
The thing I like about this measuring cup is I need to add 2 1/2 cups of Coral Marine salt to the 5 gallon container so we can mix salt water for the fish tank. And when I was using the single 1cup metal measuring cup the handle was bending a little and itâs difficult to sit there and have to Measure out 2 1/2 cups and see the level markings on the edges on the inside of the cup. And to do this multiple times on several 5 gallon containers. So, as I said earlier, it is one scoop I can see through the clear measuring cup with its measuring indicators, a whole lot easier. And this will absolutely make it a whole lot faster for us.

Clear Plastic
Looks like glass, but it is clear plastic. The description (unless it’s in the fine print) does not specifically mention this – you have to go to the answered questions to find this information. Measurements are easy to read and go up to 2.5 cups. It also shows ounce (oz) and ml measurements. They only thing I really did not like was the large stickers that come on the outside of the measuring cup. The pictures do no show these. The stickers are removable, but it took me about 10 minutes to peel them off. Fortunately, there was no residue left, which I did appreciate. Thus, I gave 4 stars.

Just don’t microwave it.
I have finally worn off almost all the print on my 40 year old plastic Wesson oil measuring cup. I hated to let it go after all these years. It was a 2 cup measure and I used it daily so it sat on a corner of my sink. This will sit there too. My old one didn’t have a handle so it’s nice to have one now. I will have to get used to the new markings but it looks like it will outlive me. It’s a very thick plastic telling me it’s well made. UPDATE !! This is NOT microwave safe. It started cracking on the bottom. Nice cup other than that.
