Nice grinders, wish they could grind finer
I’ve had a similar style OXO-branded grinder for many years, and prior to that I had a generic metal grinder that was inferior in every way except that it could be set to a much finer grind.These grinders address my two main complaints about the OXO: they are easier to refill, and they can grind a little bit finer (but they still don’t go as fine as the old metal grinder). They also come with lids, which is an upgrade, but doesn’t seem as significant to me.I’m beginning to suspect that these kinds of ceramic grinders with indexed coarseness settings simply can’t be made as fine as the older metal grinders that were adjusted with the little knob in the middle.I’ve never really understood the point of having a grinder for salt, so I’m using the extra grinder for whole fennel seeds, and it works well for those too.

Desired a salt and pepper mill/grinder for a vacation rental and ordered VUCCHINI External Adjustable Salt and Pepper Grinder Set which arrived nicely packed with each grinder in bubble wrap. The adjustment, which is external on the top instead on inside near the mill area works as described on-line. The bottle which holds the spice is glass and the mill it both plastic and ceramic. These grinder besides being affordable look nice on counter next to stove.

I really like these. I like how you get to choose how corse you want the salt and pepper. Easy to fill. Very easy to clean . They are made of great quality. I dropped one and it didnât even crack or have a nick on them. The grind speed is good too.
