    No usable lid!
You can’t put a lid on it unless you leave the infuser in the teapot. The lid attaches to the infuser, not the teapot. The website description says that the infuser is removable, but it doesn’t say that you cannot use the lid without the infuser. I will return the item.

Cute, But Very Small, A Few Design & Manufacturing Issues
I’m an occasional tea drinker and have always used tea in bags, rather than loose leaf tea. My tea snob friends impressed on me how much more I’d enjoy tea if I dumped my tea bags. This tea pot with infuser looked cute, had what looked like a great stainless steel infuser and the price is certainly very fair. On receiving the tea pot I have to admit to some disappointment. The design is appealing, but it’s quite a bit smaller than expected and the build quality leaves much to be desired. Mine was delivered shattered into pieces, because it was shipped in a plastic bag rather than a box. The replacement tea pot arrived intact, but the glass has imperfections (tiny bubbles) in a few places, the top of the handle is oddly rough and the stainless steel infuser has clearly visible spot welds holding it together. These types of issues are probably to be expected in a tea pot at such a low price point. My biggest issue with this tea pot is that the infuser cannot be removed once the tea has infused to your preferred level, since the lid attaches to the infuser rather than the pot.An attractive tea pot with some minor manufacturing and functional issues — and 3 stars from this reviewer.

Good for 2 small cups of tea
I prefer to drink loose tea and that is one of the main reasons I needed this. My previous process was to boil the water in the kettle and then pour over the tea in a cup with a pour spout. Without a pour spout, it is very easy to transfer the tea to another cup without spilling. After the tea is brewed, I would use a strainer and transfer it to another cup. It’s not that big of a deal, but this makes things easier and faster. It holds more tea than my ceramic pour spout cup and glass is probably safer than ceramic, too. This teapot may look tiny, but it holds 550 ml of tea, which is around 19 oz. If you like to drink your tea from fancy porcelain cups, then this is enough for 2 or more cups. It is the perfect size for my needs. I can now brew the tea in it, remove the strainer, and then take it with me to my home office where I can refill my cup as needed. It obviously won’t stay warm very long, but that’s fine. I could get a mug warmer if needed, but I think I’m good with drinking my tea a little cooler. The strainer is better than my usual tea strainer, but with bulk tea, you will still have very fine particles go through so I decided to also use my usual tea strainer when pouring in my cup. Another advantage of glass teapots is the fact that you can see the beautiful color of the tea changing. It’s also very fun to use with blooming tea.The teapot can also be used to infuse water if needed, although it’s a little small for that.I did not realize it was stovetop and microwave safe, but I don’t want to take any chances and shorten its life. The box does not come with any brochure about all this stuff and the maximum temperature that it can withstand.

    A bit small for two
This is a really lovely teapot with built-in provision for a tea infuser, and my favorite part is that it can be used directly on the stove. That having been said, 550ml capacity may seem like a lot, but it’s really good for one person and I wouldn’t really recommend it for two people unless you want to have two smaller cups of tea. For some, that’s perfectly fine, just worth noting that if you want two to share or like a lot of tea, you might consider the next size up
