Good Set!
I started getting matcha sourced from Japan and needed a good set to prepare it with. This has everything you need! It takes some practice to know how to whisk it all without leaving some on the bottom, but that has nothing to do with the product. 10/10 would recommend.

This is not my first Artcome matcha set. I bought one about a year ago to give as a gift for a relative who wanted to dabble in matcha latte. That was a nice set, but this is a nicer, more “traditional” set. It would make a great gift to my relative, but I’m keeping this one for myself.Now, let’s be clear about something. This is a ceremonial tea set, so it’s meant to prepare matcha tea in a relatively traditional way. If you’re looking to just drink a cup of matcha tea or latte, you probably wouldn’t use this set. It makes only one or two small cups of tea at a time. If you’re making a latte, you can just scoop matcha into a cup with a spoon, make a slurry with some hot water, then add some hot milk. The pamphlet that it comes with actually gives good, clear instructions on how to make different type of match drinks, including latte and more traditional tea. For a ceremonial tea, you should warm the mixing bowl and the whisk first, scoop the matcha into the mesh strainer, sift the tea, add water, whisk and pour. Doing it the traditional way will probably make for a smoother tea, but honestly, it will taste pretty much the same.Overall, this is a great gift set and would make for excellent ceremonial tea, but for just a cup of matcha tea in the morning, you can just use a mug and a spoon.

This is a really nice set. It comes with all of the things you would expect to need for a matcha set. Everything is of really nice quality. The manufacturer clearly did their research on what is needed for a proper matcha set and made sure to include everything to make making matcha an experience. Fantastic quality of all items, and really top-notch design. Iâll be using this for a really long time.

I would class this as very much a budget matcha set. It’s very pretty, and a great way of introducing the matcha-curious to this wonderful beverage. At £26.99, this is very good value for money (I have two that cost more than double, and one from Japan that was almost three times the cost!).I really like the minimalist style of this set. The glaze on Chawan (bowl) and Kusenaoshi (whisk holder) is very smooth and clean-looking. It’s a shame that no drinking vessels were included – I would prefer to have one or two than the bamboo plate, sieve (which is not needed, and not part of the matcha tea ceremony), and napkin.It’s also a shame that no matcha was included in this set. Yes, ceremonial matcha is more expensive than culinary but some is very reasonably-priced (c.£20 / 30g), so why not include a sample sachet? Seems like a missed opportunity, to be honest. Especially as really good matcha is a world away from the cheaper stuff, which is invariably bitter and astringent. Good ceremonial matcha is smooth and mild, subtly sweet, and incredibly pleasant.Lack of tea notwithstanding, I do feel this is a lovely entry-level matcha set, and would make a great gift for a tea enthusiast… be it yourself or someone else.

Die Qualität ist meinerseits nicht zu beanstanden.Der Preis von 35,49 ⬠(Stand 09.10.2024) ist zwar hoch, passt aber zur Qualität.Im Ergebnis vergebe ich hier 5 Sterne.
