EVERYDAY TEAPOT: A perfectly serviceable teapot. Sturdy, pleasing shade, nice weight, size of 27 oz. It is beautiful happy, high gloss, and very classy. Just makes you happy to walk into the kitchen and start your tea time!
TEA MADE IN THIS POT TASTES AND SMELLS FRESH & FLAVORFUL: The handle is the correct shape to allow for easy pouring and the spout doesn’t drip. The lid has a silicone gasket which keeps the lid on tight when you pour. With a good quality stainless infuser, it fits well and is large enough for your loose tea to move as it steeps.
ENOUGH TEA FOR TWO MUGS: Absolutely perfect for one to two drinkers as it holds two mugs or three teacups. If you might want more than one cup but don’t need a large teapot full, this is just the right size. Make your tea and not have any go to waste at the end of the day.
PRO-GRADE PORCELAIN & SAFE FOR DISHWASHER, MICROWAVE: These Sweese porcelains are made of durable porcelain, a type of premium LEAD-FREE ceramic, chip-resistant, and more sturdy than stoneware. The only thing that you should keep in mind is that this is NOT a kettle. It is a POT. Do not put it on a heating element.
CHARM LILAC COLOR: This teapot boasts a delightful lilac color that brings elegance to any setting. The lilac colors may produce different visual effects under different lighting conditions. In strong light, the teapot may visually appear more white or pale blue.
Customers say
Customers love this teapot’s bold tomato red color and appreciate its size, being perfect for two large mugs. The stainless steel infuser is well-made, and the ceramic material holds heat nicely, with one customer noting it maintains a comfortable temperature of 140ish Fahrenheit. Customers find it easy to clean and appreciate its capacity to make more than two cups of tea, though some mention it drips when poured.

Cute little teapot
Itâs a nice little teapot thatâs exactly what I was looking for to make tea. I just got it today and it was easy to clean. The metal steeper is good quality so Iâm assuming this will suit me fine. The size is good because Iâll mostly be making tea for myself, though it will have enough room for a few guests as well.I will update this review after some usage.*update*2 days of using it and its great. The included infuser is even better than I expected. There have been 0 tiny tea granules able to slip past the infuser. I’m using loose tea leaves. It stays warm for long enough for me to enjoy 2 cups of tea. I bring the teapot to my desk and refill as needed. However, the lid in the description says that the plastic gasket keeps the lid on tight… It does fit better when you have the metal infuser in the pot. When you take the infuser out (which you should do after 5-10 mins so your tea isn’t bitter) the lid is very loose and you have to place it on top, so make sure to hold on to it when pouring. That isn’t a deal breaker for me and its doing just fine, I like it.

Wonderful, affordable & so pretty!
This was to be a gift, but after a mishap with an other company, I returned to Sweese. I had gotten a larger pot a few years back & we’ve really liked it. I have quite a few friends & neighbors who drink tea & was planning on gifting this. But after opening it & checking it to make sure it was intact, I had to keep it. I will be buying more to replace the gift that didn’t quite happen, but these are truly some of the best teapots I’ve owned. The lid doesn’t always fit snuggly, but for the price? Great value. I like the fact that the lid & pot are ceramic. The tea filter is versatile, & easy to use with the handles. No burned fingers. 27 oz size is perfect for two people. These will make wonderful gifts!

Well designed
Pros: style, quality, ease to use and removable, washable filter. Not stove safe. Microwaveable but I remove lid/strainer. Dishwasher safe.

Good but not great
This teapot is cute and mostly functional. I liked this because it had the option to use the loose leaf tea strainer, but the frustrating part is the teapot lid only sits snugly on the teapot if the strainer is in place. So if youâre brewing loose leaf tea, you have to take the strainer out, rinse out all the tea leaves, and put it back in so the lid stays on. Ideally, itâd be nice if you could just take the strainer out and use the teapot normally.

Perfect design, size and color. Wish I bought it sooner.
The mint green color is rich looking. I love the size of this pot and the handle. The chrome basket snaps into place inside the pot. The lid locks into place inside the basket. The porcelain finish is flawless. I just love this pot and wish I found this sooner.

I’m enjoying my teapot. I like loose tea and this is perfect. Makes 2 mugs, just right for me in the evening.

A good teapot, but has significant design flaws
This teapot seems sturdy and well made. Everything arrived without damage and it has a nice asthetic. However, there are three things about it that I don’t like:1: when a full pot of tea is brewed (I usually make about 800 ml of tea for this, which gives me a little space to not overfill the pot), the teapot always leaks when I pour it out. Every time. The amount that leaks down the pot and ends up on the counter is about like what would spill if you poured the tea on the counter for half a second, so not an insignificant amount. To me, this is a serious design flaw and is unacceptable in any tea pot. Once the tea gets down to about half capacity in the pot though, it stops spilling.2: The infuser doesn’t reach down into the pot as low as I would like. Lots of the teas I make expand as they are brewed, and this means that I can’t brew anything in this teapot any amount of tea below 600 ml (3/4 capacity). When the pot is filled only 400 ml full (half capacity or one large cup), a little less than 1 inch of the infuser tray is actually submerged in water. Therefore, the tea in the infuser doesn’t get the chance to spread out in the water and brew properly. I don’t know why the manufacturer decided to not make an infuser that would get reasonably close to the bottom of the pot, but I can’t make just one cup’s worth of tea in this. Another design flaw.3: This flaw is not as important as the others, but is mildly annoying. The tea pot lid fits perfectly into the infuser tray (awesome!), but the infuser tray rattles around a little when it is in the teapot (not a perfect fit). And when just the ceramic lid is on the pot without the infuser, it does not fit snugly or nicely on the pot itself. Not that big of a deal, but this is what ends up happening for me: I brew my tea with infuser and lid on for X amount of time, then after the brew is done, go to take the infuser out and put the lid back on the teapot to keep it warm. Then, when I pour the tea in the cup, I have to hold the ceramic lid on with one hand while I pour so that it won’t fall off. I would have liked to be able to pour tea with just one hand. It’s a minor gripe, and it might be hard to design a lid that fits in both the infuser and on the teapot snugly, but I don’t think it would be impossible. If nothing else, I would want it to fit worse in the infuser if it could fit more snugly in the pot–because I never pour tea out while the tea is still brewing. If I did that, then the tea that would be left in the pot would keep brewing and taste super strong later. If these things don’t bother you, definitely purchase this pot. But I would probably choose something else in hindsight.

Great porcelain teapot – beautiful colour which suits my kitchen. Made a great cup of tea – had decided that using tea bags was not the way to go and this fits the bill perfectly.

It is broken. It is damaged when I received it. I want replacement or refund. The order delivery was delayed and it took 20 days to reach the product and that too damaged. I am so sad.
