Salt works fine not peopper
Salt one works perfectly. Went thru 3 diff sets of batteries on the pepper and that one is not working

A TALE OF 2 PEPPER GRINDERS-. Actually three
As an avid cook – one Christmas long ago, I was gifted 2 pepper grinders – this one and the Epare battery grinder. If you ask why is a battery powered pepper grinder such a necessity I will tell you that, faced with a dry rub recipe that calls for 6 TBS Of ground pepper – you might want this thing .This one has a unique feature that enables you to tilt it down and it just starts grinding. I even bought it as a gift for two different friends 4 years ago. For the five years or so that the Trudeau grinder worked it was my go- to grinder . The Epare grinder had a little embedded flashlight ( I guess if you were cooking in the dark this would be helpful ) and required pressing a button topper are. Less convenient.. It was very top heavy and frequently dropped. After several recent years of trying to revive these 2 grinders with battery changes and cleanings , I am sad to say the Trudeau had to hit the garbage today and to my total surprise the Epare still works if you awkwardly hold the top heavy half to the bottom. In recent years I have become quite attached to the DREAM FARM ( gifted to me by my observant son) hand grinder and âperhapsâ by wielding my violent cooking style – I even broke the glass part and was able to get a replacement . So, thumbs up to that ! Skip this and search DREAM FARM PEPPER GRINDER on Amazon. No battery changes . Grinds a lot of pepper quickly and works like a charm .
