Quick & Easy to Prepare
Partially open the tapioca pearl sachet and microwave at 800W for 30 seconds (1000W for 25 seconds).Combine the milk tea powder with the warmed up tapioca pearls in a cup (add sugar as preferred). Add 100ml of warm water (under 70°C/158°F) and stir well. Do NOT use boiling water as this will cause the milk powder protein to separate and can burn the tea leaves, which lessens the flavor.Finally, add in an additional 150ml of hot water or 150ml cold water & ice to serve.

Tasty treat of Taiwan
I’m a å¤å人 but lived in Taiwan for 3 years and instantly became hooked on bubble tea (which was conceived in Taichung Taiwan in the 1980s). Although I live in a cosmopolitan area in the US, a place that is a delight to foodies of many cuisines, authentic Asian cuisine somehow eludes us. The bubble tea craze has hit but the various coffee shops and pan-Asian restaurants and takeouts just don’t know how to make bubble tea taste good (but they do know how to charge $5-6 per cup). This product is simple to make and tastes authentic. It’s still pricey at $4/cup but I’d rather pay $4 for an authentic taste and texture than for $5 for whatever it is they’re calling boba/bubble tea around here.

Decent black milk tea kit
I have tried another bubble tea kit from a different brand and I like this one much better. The tapioca pearls reheat well: they have a good chewy texture and I appreciate how you can adjust the level of sweetness to it. The only thing is that this kit doesnât come with boba tea straws so youâd have to already have your own reusable boba straw or buy some disposable ones. Even still, the taste is comparable to my local bubble tea shop and this is more affordable. I would repurchase.

Tastes good. The bobas are chewy and sweet. The milk tea itself is flavorful and not too sweet. If you like more sweetness just add your own sugar to it. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase these again.

Yummy and easy preparing boba milk tea at home
I am so glad to find this boba milk tea selling in Amazon so I donât have to ask my friend to buy and ship them to me from Taiwan. Please warm up the boba itself first if you want soft and chewy boba. I usually put the boba in a mug, add a little bit of water covering the boba, microwave about 20-30 seconds and let it sit for another 30 seconds. Since the milk tea uses real milk, itâs healthier than creamery. However, if you are lactose intolerant, please do not buy.

This came packaged in an envelope so my box was in pretty rough shape and I didnt have much hope… But the contents were unscathed, super easy to make, and really good. I love bubble tea but have to drive 30-45min for it so this is a great at home option!
