1st the cons: very thick rim & lid makes it have a weird mouth feel while drinking. And it makes me leak, lol.2nd it is a little smaller than I thought. That being said, pros: it is beautiful. Sturdy, has a padded bottom that I never new I needed before now, is dishwasher safe. Has the most comfy handle. Makes a great gift. Not cheap at all.

A Wonderful Whimsical and Artsy mug
I chose a lower rating only because the fit of the lid that goes with this mug is not as good as it could be. It’s a bit flimsy. It does the job, but if the mug tips don’t expect it to prevent leakage (thankfully I haven’t had a full mug tip to find out if it holds even MOST of the liquid- perish the thought).That being said, this mug is lovely. It presents well, has beautiful affirmations all over it, and fits perfectly in most cup holders (be they car or stroller). The handle is large enough where most people would be comfortable gripping it. The bottom of the mug has a nice foam coaster to prevent slipping and it works like a charm! As with any light colored mug, be prepared for some amount of tinting on the inside- but only until it’s thoroughly scrubbed. It’s hefty and keeps hot drinks hot (it’s what I use it for and can only compare that). The convenience of this being a travel mug is a blessing to me as I merely wanted to avoid major splashing of liquids, plus it’s pretty. It’s a great conversation piece and when you are having one of THOSE moments – all you have to do is look at it. It brings a smile instantly.I would recommend this for someone who likes to take their beverage on the go, and is also interested in averting splashing of their beverage. Or this is for someone who even just wants to use this mug at their desk and enjoy it. This is for anyone who can appreciate a pretty mug and enjoys the artsy quality of it. If you are concerned with outright tip overs during travel and rushed life may want to find a mug with a more solid lid. Enjoy !

Great quality mug
I love this mug. I bought one for my daughter-in-law for her birthday. I liked it so much that I bought one for myself. It keeps my coffee hot for a while, and I like the size of the handle. I recommend this mug highly.

I bought this to drink coffee at home; I did not buy it for use in a car. I like my coffee really hot, so I like a suction lid on the coffee mug. In fact, I also put my coffee mug on a coffee warmer plate.What I liked about this coffee mug (which is why I bought it):* It is narrow and tall. (I like to have at least 12 ounces and I don’t like wide mouths because that makes the coffee cold very soon.)* It has a suction lid with a drinking hole that can be closed and a small hole on the other side to help with good flow.* The design. Nice sayings and good color combo.* Handle shape is convenient to hold.What I do not like, after having used it:* The drinking hole in the lid is not too well-designed. (I have used many other mugs with suction lids so I have a collection of such lids. I am using a lid from an older mug which fits this one, since the one which came with this is not the best.)* It chips VERY easily. The slightest little accident (such as the mug hitting something while you are washing or moving it) can be enough to chip. It is not just paint chipping off but rather even the “china” seems to chip off.* It is quite unstable. This might be partly due to the fact that I peeled off the rubber from the base since I need to put it on a coffee warmer. But I think it is also due to the fact that the mug is very lightweight and also much wider at the top than at the bottom (which causes its center of gravity to be too high).* It breaks very easily. (I am currently using my 2nd one.) The first one I had got accidentally hit the other day while on my coffee table. (I had finished drinking so it had no liquid in it) It rolled off the rug onto the wood floor and broke. More sturdy mugs would not be broken so easily, just rolling off from a rug.

It holds a lot..about 8cm taller than normal mug..very tall..not too heavy. Lovely design as in picture..not a big fan of keep calm and carry on which appears twice on it..other sayings good. They seem to have positioned the holder part too far up which is annoying. Was thinking of getting the dragonfly one too but it just feels annoying to use unless I just hold onto the actual mug. I decided to remove the sticker on the bottom..wish I hadn’t as could not get it off..so now just a really annoying sticky residue. Stuck it in microwave to increase the hotness of my instant coffee as it never seems hot enough from the kettle. Wasn’t sure if it was microwave safe as could not see anything on it to say other than made in china..maybe the microwave insignia is under the residues of the sticky label. The bottom of the cup has a black cushioned base on which the sticker is attached..again I wish I hadn’t tried to remove it…good for quiet setting down, cup did not feel hot to grip onto.Edit 4.10.21..chips, chips and chips..2 on the rim either side and one on the base.

El tamaño ideal, la calidad excelente, cabe perfectamente en el portavasos de mi auto y la tapa cumple su función para viajar. El único detalle a considerar es el que comentan frecuentemente en Amazon US: con la tapa puesta sà es algo incómodo tomar, asà que si no tienes cuidado puedes derramar algunas gotas al hacerlo. La cerámica es bastante más gruesa de lo normal y el café dura caliente un poco más que en una taza promedio, sin embargo, no va más allá de hora y media. El servicio de Amazon México: excelente como siempre, llegó antes de lo esperado y en perfecto estado.
