Yay great purchase!
Whenever you order anything glass, there’s always a buyers anxiety about will it arrive unbroken. Well, no worries with this if you decide to purchase. It arrived packaged very well and no damage and was I so happy. It’s very sturdy thick glass. The stainless steel lid is very attractive and has the inner lining that seals it for storing dry goods. I did purchase 3 different sizes and am happy with all 3 sizes. They make for nice visibility and storage. Satisfied and definitely recommend.

Perfect size jars to hold anything!
These jars are great. The brushed stainless steel lid fits perfectly in my modern kitchen. The 2-gallon jar is just the perfect size; not too big and not too small. I originally ordered the 1.5-gallon size but realized that I wanted a slightly bigger size. I returned the 1.5-gallon and ordered the 2-gallon jar and it was perfect! I now have 2 jars and use them to hold flour and sugar. They look wonderful on my black granite counter top!The glass is thick and sturdy. I think it would take a lot to break these. The lid fits securely and has a plastic seal to keep it air tight.Overall, these are wonderful jars to store just about anything you can imagine.

Great storage, keeps things very fresh
These Montana jars are esthetically pleasing, and extremely practical. I have a large walk in pantry with shelves of every size of these Montana jars. I keep all of my dry goods in them. These larger containers (2 gallon) holds 4 to 5 pounds of whole been coffees easily. They are very easy to clean by simply removing one screw from the knob on the lid, which gives you the ability to thoroughly clean the freshness seal. These are very effective in keeping my dry food fresh. When I first started collecting these, I was not totally convinced the seal was tight enough to keep my snacks, cereals and cookies fresh for longer periods of time. That however, has changed as I continually have been impressed at the freshness of my stored items. We keep potato and tortilla chips, crackers, cookies and cereals in these jars, some for weeks (even months), and they stay fresh longer than keeping them in the original packaging.

FYI…..glass lid from my 1 gallon jar fit quite nicely on the 2 gallon jar! ððNot as wide mouthed as my 1 gallon jar though. ð¤ That was a little disappointing so I actually say 4.5 stars.I bought this 2 gal jar to put my tropical Nepenthes in. It was too big for the 1 gal jar and needed a little upgrade. ðVery nice and I like my glass lid on it better. Wish I could have found a reasonably priced jar with a glass lid but this works for now.

Beautifully Designed and constructed
These two canisters are beautifully designed and constructed. However, since I am aging, I will not be able to handle them full, because of the weight. Therefore I am returning them to the seller. The issue has nothing to do with the quality.

Large Jars
These jars are huge! But worked very well for a S’mores bar. It held 2 full bags of marshmallows “fluffed up”. I ordered 2 of these jars. One jar had a tight seal, the other jar the seal was partially ripped off, making it unable to seal effectively. Although Amazon offers free returns and refunds or replacements I felt it would be far too much trouble packaging something this big (original packaging had already been thrown away).

Airtight seal, perfect for dry foods
I use this for my dog’s dry kibble so it doesn’t air out and go stale. This keeps her happier like it’s a fresh bag of kibble all month long.

Can’t beat glass for long term secure storage
These make great countertop or pantry storage. Secure from insects, humidity etc. Flour, sugar, salt, corn meal, oats all easily visible and able to view when need to be refilled. Quick access for that holiday baking etc.

Nice Big jar. I want to use it for flour but the lid broke immediately. I have now fixed ir with a pretty dresser pull that i had and iI am happy again
