Why does the number of cups produced by the coffee powder be less than the setting?
The larger the coffee beans, the more space they take up and the less coffee powder they can grind. The coarser the coffee powder you set, the more cups you can get.
Why does the noise get louder the finer the coffee powder is set?
The finer the coffee powder is set, the closer the two grinding heads are, the longer the grinding time is, and the louder the noise is. But the ground coffee powder is finer and more uniform.
Why doesn’t the grinder start after pressing the power button?
1. The grinder head and coffee bean hopper are not installed correctly 2. The power button is touched too lightly and the switch spring is not pressed into place.
Why does the coffee machine suddenly stop during grinding?
The Wancle flat grinder has an overheat protection system. It takes about 10 minutes to cool down before it can be restarted.

I have opinions –
Better than Krups!
Up front: 1 star off b/c it makes quite a bit more noise than I’d like.My old grinder recently just… died, out of nowhere. I’d chosen it b/c it was a “known name”, and had 2 speed options, which allowed me to grind the beans to my desired consistency, not just whatever the blade decided. Annoyingly, the same model now comes without that option, if you want that, it’s $10 more, I only had beans so I had to get it, and now I don’t expect it to last very long.I’d been considering trying a burr (vs blade) grinder but wasn’t sure it was worth the added investment so seeing this was the perfect opportunity to try it without pressure.- It’ll take some practice getting the proportions & grind correct. One part supposedly dictates the “# of cups” you’re aiming for, the other says how coarsely/finely you want it to be. I typically grind about a week’s worth at a time, so the “# of cups” is going to vary too much to give any accuracy to that measurement on the machine- It absolutely provides an infinite range of grinds coarse to fine. The thing is, us normies probably make our coffee the same virtually every day so I’m not sure how useful that will be. Like, I rarely, if ever make espresso so I don’t need the finest grind and (IMHO) the coarsest doesn’t allow the brew process to extract much flavor. YMMV of course.- It’s not huge but it’s not small. I keep my grinder in the cabinet (wife doesn’t like “stuff on the counters”) and the old one took up about the space of a tall travel mug. This one is probably double that in width so I’m not sure I’ll be able to store it there.- Read the directions on how to assemble/disassemble. It’s not as easy as they make it look and since it’s largely made of hard plastic, you could easily break something if you don’t get it properly aligned.- The noise. The old one was a muted whir, with maybe a little whine but it worked quickly so it wasn’t a big deal. This is full-on Noise, think “rocks in a blender” level. According to the instructions you can interrupt it manually but it’s probably best to let the machine decide when it’s done. So plan ahead for when you’re going to use it, like maybe not when your wife is on a conference call lol.Still, I consider it worth the advertised price, which is less than I paid for my original replacement. I’m deciding now which of the two I want to put back for when one dies again, the space is the main factor for me.ETA: the brand name grinder died after about 5 uses, literally 5 days after the return period had expired. I’m fighting w/the company for a replacement so now I’m using this one exclusively. It fits fine in the cabinet, I’m learning the proportions best for my preference and it’s still pretty noisy but it definitely works, and definitely better (so far) than the brand name one.

Very compact and great grinding capability!
I am so pleased wth this new burr grinder. It is amazingly versatile and does an excellent job of grinding up to 28 different settings for coffee. I have tried it for my french press (I tend to use this method most often), moka pot, drip coffeemaker (when I have a lot of guests), pour over, and for filling my k-cups and it grinds extremely well. I have not tested it with an espresso machine, but I did use the finest grind for some espresso coffee beans that I used in a brownie recipe and the grind was very fine (almost powdery) so I’m assuming it would be excellent for that grind as well. I just love that it holds as many beans as my previous burr grinder, but it is almost half the size. I have limited counter space and I was so pleased to find that it fits perfectly on my coffee station. It comes apart easily on top to clean out the metal burrs and the instruction booklet is very helpful. And the price is great compared to other burr grinders….Highly recommend!Side note: I have been a Vine member for almost two years and I give totally honest reviews. To earn 5 stars, the products I review have to be really well made, perform extremely well, and have a decent price point. I have no qualms coming back to revise my reviews if products fail to perform or turn out to be junk.

Choose desired quantity and grind, then push start!
So easy to use! This comes with very detailed instructions for use and for disassembly/assembly for occasional cleanings. You just put your coffee beans in, select the grind you prefer from fine to coarse, select the quantity you want ground from 2 to 12 cups, and push the start button. It is slightly noisy as are all bean grinders, but this is quieter than a previous one I owned. When that wonderful aroma hits you, you won’t even notice the noise. The ground coffee goes into a clear holder that you slide out and remove the cover from to get your freshly ground coffee. So easy.It works really well. I tried grinds from coarse to fine, all turn out good. This little grinder is nice looking so if you choose to keep it on your counter, you should be pleased. It seems sturdy and well built. I expect it to last for years. Seems like a really good price for great coffee at home.

Good Grinder for the Price
The construction of the container for the ground coffee is such that I can grind extra coffee and it will be kept fresh in the container for a few days. Once the button is pushed to grind, it doesn’t go off until it is done. But it doesn’t always sense accurately. I’ve found that a couple of times it has needed to be shaken to dislodge stuck beans before it will continue to grind. I did not find anything in the instructions to help determine what grind is best for drip, etc. All of this being said, it is a good grinder for the price.

Small but does the job. I have bought many grinders, looking for the best one. This grinder grinds the best fine I haveever had. The other grinders have failed the fine grind setting. But not this one. It’s equal to the Braun model, but less in price. I’m Happy.
