Buy it! But Handwash only.
So, I really love this French press. The look of it and the weight in your hand is just right. It fits into farm house style or mid century modern or European cottage, just about any design style. Just looking at it makes me happy. It’s also not hot to handle because of it’s double wall design. However, I’ve owned it probably less than 6 months and the paint is peeling. To be fair, we have run it through the dishwasher several times and that’s when it started to peel. Since then I’ve been hand washing it but the damage was already started and its continuing to chip away. So my advice is to just hand wash it from the start and you’ll probably be fine. It probably even says to hand wash it in the instruction manual and I decided I was too good for such menial labor. Anyways, buy it, you’ll love it, and give it the tender care it deserves.

Nice French Press but not pure white.
I purchased this particular press because I wanted a white one. It’s more off white than pure white, so it makes paying extra for a white one a bit of a disappointment. It is well made and works fine.

It’s just a french press.
This Pot Is A Fine French Press. Its off white, durable, easy clean, pours well made in China etc… I returned mine for the same reason I bought it. It does not keep your hot beverage hot for a long time.i tested it against my regular press. Both preheated & full of 180 F hot water. Standard glass press dropped 35 degrees, this one 20 in the first hour. Its substantial, but this ain’t weather, its hot beverages. When I put it to use the next morning, I still had to reheat my 2nd cup, 45 min after my first. 2 hours later the 3rd cup cold. So in my opinion, it does not keep hot for any longer then a standard glass press. Also, you’ll get about 3.5 standard home sized coffee cups per pot. It mentions a vacuum seal, it must be referring to the space between the inside & outside. As the lid does not seal or have a lip to overlap the top of it. One other thing I noticed when i was cleaning it for return, there are no gaskets to prevent steam or beverage to get inside the lid. So after several uses there’s bound to be an issue there. Its stainless, not rustless.

I wouldn’t recommend this to my worst enemy. As you can see by the photos, it appears as if Rodolffo thinks it’s okay to ship an incredibly damaged item. The bottom was burnt, the paint was chipped and I was missing one of the mesh screens for the actual press. I will be returning this item Immediately.
