This is a great pot if you don’t want to break your $200 Brewer
I searched Amazon’s Marketplace pages for a good two hours before I settled on this pot. It was not first choice. My first choice was cheap junk that looked nice. This pot was pricey-er than my $20 budget at over $35. And buying this pot was the best decision I could! Excepting buying ALL the pots and trying them all out then returning the unbroken washouts and eating the cost of the broken junk. Besides that option it was the best choice. The pot is durable, as far as 1/4″ thick porcelain can be. And when you are buying a tea pot so your expensive glass brewer never leaves the kitchen counter and end up shattered on the hardwood floor you want a dirty cheap sacrificial surrogate (because you are a financial masochist for manufactured planned Self-destruction and the non-subscription but you have to keep repeat buying it subscription model) or you just enough Quality that it reduces the future quantity of repurchases and therefore is the cheaper option all along. The black glaze is mat, has good roughness so your grip does not slip, and looks nice on a dark wood tray with your shadow colored mugs. The handle is wide and fits well inside my medium male sized hand. The lid is cool. It is hinged, smooth action, and creates a vapor barrier keeping steam in. The spout is the best feature of this pot. And I did not know it was a feature. Get this pot for the spout alone! Well that and it is durable. The spout on my brewer sucks, I think literally. It takes 10s of seconds to pour a cup of tea. This pot’s spout takes 1-2 seconds. When you want tea without ceremony, you should have to wait on imposed tea ceremony from your pot.It is a good pot, buy it. I haven’t broken my first one yet.

    Just Right Tea Server
This 32-oz. teapot is the perfect size for 2-3 mugs of tea, depending on your mug size. Would probably accommodate 4 regular size cups. It is well constructed, easy to pour, and looks attractive in the kitchen/dining area. The color is an intense yellow–I would have preferred a softer shade, but I can live with that. Haven’t used the infuser yet, as I don’t have any loose time at present. Infuser does, however, look very well made and easy to clean. The best feature on this teapot (and the main reason I chose this one) is the hinged lid; no chance of fumbling with the lid or dropping it.

Lovely tea pot for the first few months
nice and heavy, sleek lines, easy pour, fine mesh filter works to keep fine grinds in tea to a minimum and goes nearly to the bottom of the pot so making only 1 cup of tea is possible, a bit expensive for a tea pot but definitely worth it. FYI: if you hold the filter just the right way under running water when cleaning , it will “sing” to you – Very joyful noise.UPDATE: 6 months into using this teapot daily, I find the lid no longer stay open. I now have to hold the lid open while I pour boiling water into the pot. I’m pretty nimble but I think this is risky, at best. I was told by Tealyra ” In truth, the lid wasn’t designed to stay open or to be de-attached. Most likely that the lid was bent a little during use, so it no longer holds open. As for detaching the cover, it is screwed on with a screw, which is set on the glue. It is almost impossible to unscrew the lid, and if you do this, then in the future the screw can unscrew itself and be lost.”You may wish to consider another teapot for longevity and safety.UPDATE 10/28/20: Amazing customer service, after all, shipping new tea pot. Thanks, thanks, thanks!!

Beautiful teapot, but tea cools quickly
I purchased this for myself, thinking I could make a pot for 2 large cups of tea in the morning. The size is right and the color and shape are beautiful. The tea steeps nicely in the stainless steel strainer. The tea, however, is cool by the time I drink my second morning cup. The pot is better suited for tea with a friend.

    attractive and works well
The material keeps the tea warmer for longer than the glass teapot it replaced — which I love about this teapot. Usually when I returned for a second cup, I’d have to microwave it, but no longer. The infuser is nice, has perforations from top to bottom for excellent flow and it is easy to clean. My previous teapot was such that you’d stop it from steeping by pushing down the plunger. This one lacks that feature, but honestly I don’t miss it. The older teapot didn’t have perforations for the complete height and I feel this one’s infuser works better.Overall, this one earns a rare 5-star rating from me.

    A lovely teapot!
Thank you so much for the beautiful teapot. Using it has become one of my favorite parts of the day.It holds heat especially well… I can’t imagine that a cozy would be needed for it. Also, the mesh basket inside makes cleaning so easy!I’m not a tea expert, but I think those who are would love this chic little pot.

Nice in theory but mesh basket broke after a few uses
Nice size, sturdy and worked well….except that the mesh strainer basket broke after only a handful of uses. The mesh part of it detached from the lip/handle part of it and won’t stay on. Not sure how or why that happened but it sure seems like it should have lasted longer and from a design standpoint should have been better secured.

    My favorite teapot
Ive had this teapot for a while now, as I often drink at least a pot of tea throughout my workday, and although I have others (and fancier ones), this one has by far been my favorite. The shape of the pot and spout and color (I have yellow) are a delight and cheer me up whenever I reach for it, the handle, while not as lovely a shape as the rest of it, is both stable and large enough to hold and pour from the pot without my knuckles touching the hot body of the pot. It never dribbles, and it holds a lovely amount of tea for one person to have for a long time or two for a meal or chat without having to frequently re-brew. It is very easy to clean. Excellent.

Cool looking. Works as expected. Strainer is fine enough to keep tea leaves out of tea. Great quality.

First, it’s made in Japan. Second, it’s Yellow! 😊Delivered fast enough, satisfying. I took video when I opened the box to anticipate if I found something bad and needed to return. Yes 🙌, it’s in perfect condition. Only it’s too big than I expected (searching with key word SMALL tea pot), but okay 👌 I keep it. Falling in love 🥰 already. It doesn’t spill when you pour the tea. IT’S SO CUTE! With filter inside, it helps a lot to enjoy my tea. Thanks 😊.

I’ve been using this for about 5 months now and it’s a great little teapot, with a clean aesthetic. The infuser is a light, simple build as well. Both are very simple to rinse and reuse. As it’s ceramic, keep in mind that the teapot won’t stay hot for too long. If you’re a slow, sippy drinker, the 2nd cup may be lukewarm at best.I initially thought it to be a bit small when I first opened it up, but through regular use, it is perfect for what I need: 2-3 cups of tea in a single sitting, and little maintenance.

I bought this because my plastic tea infuser had worn out and I was looking for a non-plastic replacement. The pot is solid and gives three or four mugs when full and produces good tea. However, the lid doesn’t always stay up which can be a bit of a hazard if you pour boiling water on it just as it falls down. I now always hold the lid open.I also found it very difficult to clean as I don’t want to put the tealeaves down the sink. Some of the spent leaves will come out with a shake but then the rest are difficult to dislodge and have to be scraped out with a spoon as the cage is too narrow to get your hand down. Any advice gratefully received.
