A1: Please control the preheating time of the sealing machine according to the thickness of the bag, the preheating time is about 30-60s. We recommend that you turn off the power after the sealer has been heated for 30-60 seconds, after turning off the power, you can still use the temperature that it has not dissipated to seal the bags. This will prevent you from melting the plastic bag due to continuous heating during the sealing. After the temperature drops, you can continue to turn on the switch to heat and seal. When the thin bag is sealing, it only needs to be pressed for 1-2s to release. Do not press the bag for a long time to seal, so as not to burn the bag due to high temperature.
Q2: What type of bags cannot be sealed?
A2: Do not use a thin bag or paper bag to seal (such as cling film, shrink wrap bags, cellophane bags), it is likely to melt the bags and cannot be sealed. It only works with certain kinds of wrapper plastic. For example, used for snack bags, Foil bag, chip bags, Pet food bag, mylar bags, Color street nail strips etc.

These work great to seal chips etc. A bit tricky to seal big bags but just do it across top instead of sides.

Works well
This is a nice little bag sealer. I was using it to seal mylar bags because most vacuum sealers donât work on smooth plastic. It worked well for me, I just had to be careful not to touch the part that heats up anywhere but the tip because, of course, it gets hot, just like a curling iron does. Even though I found a vacuum sealer that works well in mylar I will still hold onto this for other quick jobs, like the potato chip bags, etc., that it was intended for.

Heat sealer
The heat sealer for chip bags and such is small and compact. That part is great.However, I did find that sometimes the unit locks in place, which burns through and melts a chip bag. The heat is extreme. I was under the impression that I would be able to swipe side to side to seal. It only takes a few seconds to seal, but the device has to be moved three times to seal package. Sometime the seal doesnât hold. You can hold for two to three seconds and melt through or hold same time and not seal. I guess I just have to get use to which bags work best. The heat is still too extreme though

No more wonky bag clips!
I use bag clips for everything, but this saves me money and storage space. It takes up less space than the container I used to store all the clips, it works great and heats up fast, and my kids like to use it so they are more likely to actually close the bag and save us from stale chips and crackers! lol

I bought this product in mid-October of 2023. It Worked until January 2024. It is not a safe item. I plugged it in to use it & it immediately started to smoke & smell. I unplugged it immediately. It no longer works. I only used it a few times, but couldnât return it as it is out of the return window. Iâm looking for something else similar suggest not to buy.

Great when it works
It heats up quickly and worked great in the beginning. However it does not last very long. Before the end of the year, less than 5 months, and it was already broken. Also, it gets very hot in the area where you need to press. So be careful.
