This mat is wonderful. We have used it for dishes, our coffee area, and under our hydroplanter. Works great in all scenarios. Easy to clean, and it is definitely super absorbent. Highly recommend

Useful for dishes or as a slider for appliances.
The dish drying mat is silky smooth on top and has a rubberized backing. The mat is big, and the color is just as described. These are comparable to the slider mats for under small appliances. I like how well it absorbs water and dries itself. It whisks the water off the surface of the mat and keeps the dishes drier. The mat lays flat with no wrinkles while it stays put and doesn’t slide around the countertop. This mat can be used for more than a large dish drying mat in the kitchen. These would also be useful in bathrooms and laundry areas, anywhere you need to keep it dry and clean underneath. I also washed this on the top rack of the dishwasher’s light mode, and it came out clean and in perfect shape.

Works good but smells a bit strongly
I’m pretty sensitive to the odor of neoprene and this item smells really strongly to me. It works just fine, looks good on my dark counter tops I just don’t care for the odor.
