Versatile and Effective Storage Solution with Minor Caveats!
These glass jars are true to their description and have proven quite functional in my kitchen. I initially used them for storing both flour and rice. While the idea was to keep the flour mess-free compared to its original packaging, I found that it didn’t really reduce the mess. Retrieving flour from these jars turns out to be just as cumbersome. However, they shine brilliantly as rice storage containers. The wide mouth and sturdy build make it easy to scoop out rice without the hassle of dealing with the plastic bags rice usually comes in. The capacity is generous enough to hold a few weeks’ supply (for my needs) of rice, which is incredibly convenient. I’m contemplating what to store in the second jar since flour might be moving outâperhaps another grain similar to rice. Overall, I’m pleased with these containers despite the slight hiccup with the flour.

I got these not quite knowing what I was going to put in them and would decide based on how sturdy they are.Turns out, they are super sturdy but be warned this comes with hefty weight too.I like the wide mouth, but it is just barely not wide enough to use for something like flour or rice (scooping) so I would recommend something maybe more for pouring (or even just aesthetics honestly). The handles have a metal slip-cover on them so they can pivot when you’re carrying them, nice. It doesn’t feel flimsy either.The seal is REMOVABLE and has a pull tab, so you can clean them easily if you need to. It seals well. Sometimes the latch systems on jars like these are a massive pain to line up and close, and sometimes they are very easy. I would put this somewhere in the middle, where it requires two hands and depressing the lid since there is a lot of play in the lid hinge. I highly recommend it for the sale price.
