Thank you Mosi customer service ! I was sent a replacement.Works perfectly! No leaks.Instructions for any new users out there, and save you some time :)1. Top shelf of dishwasher only.2. Not microwave safe3. Screw all removable parts securely ( not so tight as to break the threads!) but securely. The removable parts are all around the cover (sipper, strainer, rubber top)4. Make sure the rubber disk under the cover is also sitting tight and in position ( this is what makes the watertight seal)5. Close cap and put in FULLY locked position.6. Liquid level should be below the bottom of the strainerThe liquid is super hot which is a good thing. But if you are like me and don’t like super hot tea or coffee , I remove the entire cover (strainer and all) and just drink it like out of a normal flask ie giving time for my tea to cool down a it. BUT…..when you do that make sure you do it over a SINK !This is because there is residual liquid in the strainer and if you remove it on the counter, or car, it will spill that residual liquid.Enjoy !PS: Mosi am waiting for a microwaveble version 🙂 That way I can heat my milk in the same flask. :P——————————————————–Previous review follows below. I always thought it was user error ( the old Gen x mantra of ‘Intel inside , idi…outside’ 😛)1. ensuring I am screwing the 2 removal parts securely2. not filling the flask with too much liquid.3. I mainly use teabags, have tried to swap it out with tea leaves.Leaks no matter what. At this point in time I do think it is not me, it IS the Mosi.There are pros but the biggest Con is the con 🙂 it leaks.I am determined to use this because it is expensive, so I have put old (clean) socks around the bottle like a homemade koozie so when it leaks it goes on the sock and not all over my table and/or clothes.Pros-1. keeps tea hot2. dishwasher safe3. I love that the tea is not sitting in the leaves/tea bags steadily getting bitter and making it un-drinkable. This is why I bought this over all the other ‘sitting in the liquid’ tea flasks out there.suggestions: Wish it was microwave safe so I could heat my milk instead of using another cup to do that.

The most functional loose leaf tea infuser
This product came packaged well with easy to understand instructions. I take walks often and the Mosi Tea infuser provided me with a practical way to travel and enjoy my loose leaf tea on the go. The filter is effective, the bottle is made durable, and temperature of the fluids inside is well regulated. Great product design!Although, not a note on the product, I appreciated the customer service from the Mosi team. My shipment was lost in the mail and when I reached out to the company for help they were prompt, professional and sent me a new bottle directly to my home with no questions asked. It’s often hard for me to even get a response from many brands!All in all, whether you drink tea occasionally or daily this bottle makes for a great addition to any cabinet!

Do not buy. It leaks.
Horrible, leaks everywhere when you flip it over. Don’t waste your money. Tried everything suggested to remedy problems to no avail.If it had a silicone seal around the lid this wouldn’t be possible. Huge design flaw. Plastic to glass without a gasket needs a perfect mating surface to be air tight.I believed the hype. Don’t be me.

Great produce for tea in the office
I didn’t originally order the complete set with the matcha attachment. My first mosi broke. Dealing with customer service was painless and they not only replaced it, they sent me all of the attachments and some tea for my trouble.It makes making matching simply and fast. I’d pretty much stopped drinking matcha because I hated the process and hated cleaning the whisk thing. Since getting the replacement mosi I’m back to drinking it regularly.For loose leaf tea, my original reason for purchasing it’s fantastic as well. I hate dealing with the mess of loose-leaf tea at the office. The mosi makes it easy for me to just add hot water throughout the day. I don’t waste tea leaves, or have to use an annoying strainer that either stains my desk or oversteeps my tea. I’ve been using a lot less tea because I can easily regret the leaves instead of throwing away bags, or emptying out a cup strainer after use.It’s good that you can brew in it easily because it does not hold a great volume of tea. Using the loose leaf basket you’ll get about one mug full of tea. Great if you can refill. If you can’t refill you’d be better served Brewing a large pot at home and bringing it in a thermos.Overall I would highly recommend this for office workers woth access to hot water.

Leaks hot water turning right side up and while drinking like a dribble cup
I drink a lot of tea. I thought this would be the ideal product for me. In reality, it’s so-so at best. The main problem is the fit between the flip-top lid and the bottle. Both are plastic and the fit is not perfect. No matter how carefully I line it up and how tight I screw it together, it very often leaks. Especially in the brewing operation which requires you to turn it upside down. The leak usually occurs after brewing when you turn it back right side up. Pressure builds up inside as the hot water heats the sealed contents and when it is about horizontal on the flip back to right side up it leaks a little very hot water. The seal on the flip-top lid allows a dribble of very hot tea to escape when horizontal in the brewing process. I’ve also had it leak like a dribble cup when I tip it up to drink. Tea stains on my dress shirt at work are not a plus for this product. The lid seal is the main problem that causes it to leak.I also think the somewhat flimsy looking plastic latch that holds the top closed between sips is not likely to last very long, nor is it tight enough to prevent the lid from leaking. It does not inspire confidence. I hope I’m wrong and it won’t soon break or stretch so much it serves no useful purpose. I bought this after seeing the TV ad. What I got was not what I was expecting. Would not buy this mosi tea thingy again.

My wife and I love tea and have used our fair share of infusers over the years. I stumbled across Mosi and decided to order an infuser after visiting their website and taking their “tea quiz”. Am I ever happy I did it! Great quality, easy to use, dishwasher friendly, and just overall a good looking, durable infuser. If you’re a tea drinker, I recommend them 🙂
