Love my frother. Just be gentle with them.
This is my second frother, in 8 years. My first one, literally wore out and I assume abused a bit to much, this current one I have had since 2013 and shows no sign of wear, unlike the first one. Couple of things I learned from the first one. This is not a mixer. This is a frother, for frothing milk or cream. Not for mixing. This is a delicate, specific use tool and will give you years and years of perfect foam but it isn’t a “boat motor” (stick blender). Don’t let the kids mix their hot coco etc with it. It will bend if smashed on the drying rack or cupboard. Treat it kindly and it should give you years of fluffy foam.

Works well, convenient size.
I bought this milk frother for my daughter who is away in college. She doesn’t have a lot of room in the dorm so the compact size of the mixer is really convenient. It seems to be well made and it does a great job of frothing up the milk for coffee or hot chocolate.Recommended!

It’s handy to have but it’s not a powerful item.
I thought this would be more helpful than it is. But I’m probably not using it right. I don’t use it for frothing milk but for mixing very small amounts of things. I was hoping it would fluff up my eggs better. It’s still nice to have and it is useful but it’s not very powerful. Still helpful in the kitchen though. So if you want to froth up things, this is nice. It’s easy to use and super easy to clean – just hold it under running water and run the whip and it cleans quickly.

I love mine c:
It feels a little cheap but expected from the price. Besides it feeling cheap it works really really well. I made matcha lattes and I use almond milk with them and it frothed the almond milk just fine :). Definitely recommend for the price. Needs AA though.

It didnt work!
I was excited to use this item for my coffee bar, but it didn’t work! The durability is nonexistent, but I am lucky Amazon returned my money. I don’t recommend this item. â¹ï¸

Works great
I love white flat coffees and this really whips up a very small amount of milk into a huge fraud that I can add to my coffee I’m very happy with my purchase

Stopped working after 3 weeks; needs better battery connection!
Overall, it’s an ok product. It could use more power. Super easy to clean and turn on/off, but battery replacement is too difficult. It could use more power to blend, especially protein powder. Fine for matcha and my collagen powder. This is the third Bodum Schiuma I’ve had. The first one was from Target and the wand got slightly bent and stopped working. Bought a second one from Target as part of a French press kit, it worked great for months and I gave it to my dad. This is my third one; this one worked for three weeks! After I replaced the batteries (I use rechargeable), it just wouldn’t turn on. The sodered metal that connects to the batteries is very touchy and too small, IMO. I just ordered the “SimpleTaste” frother to replace this one to see if it’s any better!

Item was well packaged. On opening everything looked ok. first struggled to open to insert batteries, when inserted first try didn’t work. Changed batteries (new) still no good. In the bin!

This works great, I use it to stir powdered collagen with water, which is quite hard to dissolve with just a spoon. There are no instructions how to put in batteries or even how to operate it, but luckily you can find them on Youtube.

When this product arrived, I rushed to test it out with batteries I thought were new, lying around the house. I was, at first, very disappointed to see the whisk moving with a sad limp sort of whirl. I even switched it out for a few sets of batteries I had around, to no improvement. I was going to send it back. But then, I happened to pick up some new batteries, and when I tried these in the frother, it worked great!Long story short, use new batteries. I share this embarrassing story in case, like me, you forget which batteries are which in the back of a cupboard. Now it works great – the whirl of the frother is strong, it whisks up milk in no time. I usually zap a bit of milk in the microwave for thirty seconds first, then use this to froth it up, for cappuccinos.

I dropped my old frother on the ground, didn’t work probably after.I got this one to replace it. I liked that it was a brand that I knew and was actually sold by Amazon.ca (no shady 3rd party sellers). Some people complain that the batteries are hard to insert. they must not have took the time to read the little instruction paper that comes in the box. There is a little picture that shows how to open the battery compartment. You just have to push on a certain side of the endcap (see my picture). Molded into the plastic are + and – symbols to show how to insert the batteries (hint the flat side of AA’s are the negative side).now as for the functioning of the product, it froths just fine. My old one had a silicone tip, this one is like a small metal whisk. I find that it works much better than my old one and has less of a tendency to make the milk overflow from the cup.Of course for nine dollars you cannot expect that this thing is made of reinforced titanium and will survive being tossed around or used carelessly. It’s made of plastic! My old one lasted 10 yrs until I dropped it and was of similar quality. I wouldn’t keep this frother loose in a drawer. Keep it in the box when it is not being used to make sure that the shaft does not get damaged. My old frother had a special plastic case that kept it safe when not being used, this one doesn’t.
