Incredibly useful, but flawed
In general, the design of this infuser is wonderful. You can get the flavor of gong fu tea with far fewer dishes. Because of this I have been using it almost every day for months. But there are many ways this product could be even improved.(1) there are plastic pieces inside the infuser, I would rather not drink hot tea that has been in contact with plastic(2) the travel case feels really cheap, I don’t think it actually protects the infuser at all (it just keeps everything together basically)(3) if you try to pour tea from the reservoir, it spills everywhere. If it would pour correctly you could serve tea for multiple people or more easily transfer tea to a to-go bottle

I wanted something that would allow me to buy herbs and make them in a cup… Something portable.I’ve used the mesh balls, they work. However …As it has functionality, a sleek style (the style is energetically balanced), and is a genius solution to a problem I have been looking to solve.Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys tea, and would like to make it on the go. All you need is a cup of hot water! And it’s free at the gas station!The best thing is, you don’t have to settle for just store bought teas, as the herbs are limited in selection.To increase the innovation of this product, I would create a screw on solution, to provide additional security.

Ball valve leaks
I first tried their smaller teapot model. It worked pretty well, but I didn’t like the fact that it was all plastic, so I exchanged it for this model, which is supposed to be an upgrade. Indeed, it looks and feels better than the small model, and most importantly, the brewing cup and the bottom cup are made of glass instead of plastic. However, this model as a deal-breaking flaw: the ball valve doesn’t work well. It typically works as expected on the first brew, but starts leaking on consecutive brews. What I mean is when I release the button, the tea keeps trickling down from the top cup. Some other reviewers have mentioned this and posted videos. I think what happens is some small bits of tea leaves get in there through the steel filter and prevent the valve from fully sealing against the silicone ring. What’s interesting is that I never experienced the same thing with the smaller model, but in that model the whole middle part is silicone, so maybe that helps. This flaw makes the teapot unusable, which is very disappointing, as I otherwise like it’s design and prefer the upgraded materials over the plastic and silicone of the other model. Will be returning.Note: this model also has some plastic and silicone elements in the strainer section, but much less than the smaller model.

Game changer for work!
I bought this tea seeper for my husband because he uses loose leaf tea every day. It is so simple and so easy to clean! We love that it is made of glass and wood and stainless steel as we try to be a household that uses good quality materials! He takes it to work with him every day in the carrying case and it is so easy to use! Great price as well and the perfect size!
