High quality, worth having.
They’re great, the placement on the base makes them look like works of art and they’re easy to use, just flip the switch and point it at the food, with LED lights so you can clearly see the condition of the food. It’s also easy to adjust the coarseness of the grind. The free funnel is especially thoughtful. Great value for money, highly recommended!A great gift idea!

Struggles a bit, but works
This salt-and-pepper grinder set looks elegant, and works fairly well. You can get a variety of grinds, from pretty fine to fairly course, and you can do so in very little time and with no effort – just push the button at the top for a second or so, and you’ll have plenty of salt or pepper. There are only two issues I have found with it, both fairly minor: first, when running the motor *really* sounds like it is struggling. It still produces plenty of ground pepper, so it’s probably ok, but I do have some concerns about the longevity given the level of struggling I’m hearing. The second issue is that while you can easily adjust from fine to course, there is no indication of which end of the scale it is current set to. The adjustment knob on the bottom turn with the grinding rather than being a pointer on a scale or the like.The full set comes with a funnel to help fill, a cleaning brush, charging cord, two grinders, and an elegant base, so everything you need. Overall, if you are looking for an electric salt-and-pepper grinder set – especially if you always want the same grind and can just dial it in and leave it – this set is well worth considering.

This product exceeded my expectations! The oversized buttons are easy to operate with just a push of a button. The pine base looks so quaint and chic in my kitchen, it’s just practical and decorative. The gift of the small funnel was very thoughtful and it is very useful. This is a better value than I expected for the price.10/10 Recommended!

With a Bit of Strain, They Get the Job Done
Finally, a designer wants to give me a pair of salt and pepper grinders that can be lifted with one hand and don’t become a center piece for the table. These are compact, but with plenty of capacity.I am a bit worried for the life of the pepper grinder. Even fully charged, it sounds like the “Little Engine That Could”, trying to grind up those pepper corns. Don’t get me wrong, it’s never failed to live up to the job, but it sure does struggle.The salt shaker, admittedly, has an easier life, as I’ve filled it with kosher salt, rather than the typical rock salt, so it flies through the job, spewing copious salt in its wake.They are easy to charge and fill, given the supplied funnel (thanks for that). And they are easy to use – completely usable with one hand, with ease. This is probably their best feature – they are quick draw and work with a gentle thumb press in a single hand.They are also attractive, coming in a matching wooden tray. I’ve taken to not using the tray, but remaining satisfied with the product. I’ll update if the pepper grinder fails under the strain, ultimately.

Disappointed
I’m disappointed because it was my understanding that I ordered the gravity version of this electric salt and pepper shaker however I received the electric salt and pepper shaker that dispenses by pressing a button rather then gravity censored dispensing.My reason for wanting a gravity operated appliance was to avoid inadvertently pressing the dispenser button when handling the device which I have done with another similar product I already have.Unfortunately I haven’t used this product because I plan to gift it since it isn’t the gravity version I was expecting, so I can’t speak to how well it functions.However, I did open and inspect it. It appears to be well made and has an attractive appearance. The buttons to dispense the ingredients are located on the top as opposed to the side so would probably be less likely to be inadvertently pressed when picking up and handling the unit. The one downside to this unit in my opinion is that each piece needs to be charged independently which seems somewhat cumbersome. It would be nicer if the stand provided integrated charging and the unit would be charging as long as it is in the stand.
