    Strong Powerful Grinder
I wanted this Shardor Coffee Grinder in order to grind my spices. I will occasionally use it for coffee beans too. That is the great thing about having a stainless washable grinding container. I can thoroughly wash the container and then use it for both without any worries about smells and oils transferring from one to the other. I like how powerful this grinder is! I show a photo of a purposely small amount of chia seeds that I ground up. Sometimes grinders have a hard time with a small amount. This grinder easily ground the seeds very quickly. The way the parts fit together prevents you from turning the spice grinder on and injuring yourself. It is a smart design. The removable parts are all supposed to be dishwasher safe. I don’t want to dull the blades, so I will wash the grinding cup by hand. It was very easy to add water and dish soap, cover the cup, and shake it to clean it thoroughly. If there is anything that I don’t like it is that the instruction manual, shown in my other photo, calls this a burr grinder. This grinder has a blade similar to some blenders and is not a burr grinder that grinds coffee between two plates. This doesn’t affect the appliance so I give this a hearty 5 star rating for the strong power and well thought out design of this grinder.

Works as well as my old spice grinder, and it’s washable.
I suspect that spice grinders are largely more or less the same, performance-wise. This one works at least as well as my old (30+ years) Melitta grinder, with the significant upgrade of having a detachable grinding bowl, which is dishwasher safe. For me, the detachable bowl is a game changer. I don’t grind coffee in these, but lots of various spices (for cooking). Previously, I spent tons of time trying to meticulously clean out the Melitta to avoid having, say, cardamom flavor from the last use taint the Szechuan peppercorns in the next. And I’d definitely never grind anything greasy.Photos show the bowl after grinding arbol chilis I had toasted in oil, then after cleaning it. I never, ever would have ground a greasy mess like that previously, but the ability to wash it out completely changed my modus operandi. Very happy.Recommended.

Finally grinding my coffee at home
The smell of freshly ground coffee is irreplaceable. I usually used the grinder at my local warehouse supermarket, because I could not justify having a big grinder at home like they do.This item is small, and fits well into my small kitchen, while having enough capacity to grind coffee for a few uses. It is also possible to use it for other use cases than coffee, but I only tried coffee. This is not for commercial use, it has a sticker saying that you need to let the machine cool down after a few repeated uses, so don’t buy this for a restaurant. But for home use where it is going to be used at most a few times a day, it is completely adequate. There is a safety switch that prevents it from running unless the cover is fully locked in, so it is safe to use without risks of injuriesPower cable is long enough for a typical kitchen countertop and the unit does make noise when running but nothing unexpected.Overally I am delighted by the ability to grind my coffee at home. I may still use the bigger commercial grinders occasionally, but I will never be stuck without the ability to grind coffee!

Grinds Well and it is Quiet
This coffee grinder has a large capacity and does a great job with the grind. I really like the removable grinding bowl as it makes it easy to dispense the grounds and also easy to clean. The fit and finish of the appliance is pretty good. Everything feels solid and well-made. The plastic parts are thick and durable and fit together without hassle. But the best part of all is how quiet this small grinder is! Much quieter than the one it is replacing. The grinder has warnings about excessive continuous runtime (overheating), so I wouldn’t buy this if you were hoping to use it to grind an entire bag of coffee beans in one go. It will be more than capable for a 12 cup machine, but if you’re going to heed the warnings about run time you won’t want to do more than two 12-cup servings at a time. I’m not sure if this is excessive caution as I couldn’t detect the machine heating up at all, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t deep inside.

Nice that the grinding cup is dishwasher safe.
This is a great coffee- spice grinder works fine for coffee. I should have read more before I bought the grinder I thought it was auto stop when it was done grinding but it is not you have to hold it down till you have the grind you want. It is a very nice grinder I must say it is very easy to clean. The removable grind cup is a nice feature for removing your grounds or cleaning.

Pretty quiet compared to my blender
I got this to grind coffee beans. I’m still trying to figure out the timing and pulsing of this grinder to get the consistency that I want. But so far, it works pretty well. Surprisingly enough, this doesn’t piss my dogs off as much as my blender or immersion blender. It’s not as loud. I also like that it’s easy to clean and is a little bigger than most grinders. Overall, happy with this grinder. It does exactly what I want and is easy to operate.

    Grinds great
Grinds coffee fast & efficiently. The only thing that would make this better is if it had an automatic setting for the type of grind you want, but honestly you don’t really need it. If you’re looking for a courser grind then just start slow & stop it where you want it. Most people are probably using a drip coffee maker so just grind that stuff down & enjoy!

neat little grider but a bit bulky
Pros:-Good quality grind that was able to get cinnamon sticks down to powder form-lower noise than other grinders due to double compartment design-easy to wash-nice length of cord, not too short.-inner lid has silicon seal so you wont lose any coffee or spices until you decide to take the lid off making it spill proof-easy to useCons-Bigger than other grinders takes up cupboard space-taking it apart and putting it back together is a pain but a trade off for less noise.
