Aeropress: The American French Press!
It’s been three years since I bought this Aeropress, almost to the day. Happy Anniversary, beautiful! I love you and I can’t imagine my life without you ð Sorry, I drifted there for a second ðBefore Aeropress, I used a French press. It was part of my morning rituals: grind the beans, boil the water, pour and let it sit, press, and voilà , you got coffee. I enjoyed that. What I didn’t enjoy, though, was the sediment and the cleanup! Enter, Aeropress ð¤©Pros ððð- Compact and portable.- Consistently good coffee, every time (once you’ve dialed it in to your preferences).- Easy to use. Personally, I use the inverted method.- Easy to clean. You end up with a neat little puck. Toss, rinse and repeat!- Economical: minimum waste in paper, coffee, time, and energy!- Lasts for ever! See photos of mine, three years later, of almost daily use.- S, M and XL: Aeropress now comes in your choice of small (Go), medium (Original), and even XL!Cons ððð- Honestly, not much to complain about. This invention is near perfect!- OK, the paper filter holder is just too small to be useful!- Also, I wish the Aeropress logo was embossed and not just printed, but this is nitpick territory! My Verdict ð§My first reaction to using my Aeropress was that this is the best thing thatâs happened to coffee since 1852 (the year the first French Press was patented). I love mine, and I’m sure you will fall in love with yours. Trust me, you need this in your life! One more thing: If I have to buy it again, I would certainly go with the Original Aeropress. I honestly think it’s just as compact and travel-friendly. Besides, I don’t care for any of the other accessories, like the cup or the foldable stirrer!I hope my review has helped you make a more informed buying decision ððâï¸

Great for travel!
I am a truck driver, and I got tired of truck stop/travel center coffee that can be hit-or-miss, even at the national chains. In fact, I was tired of having to go to a travel center to get coffee, period. I wanted a way to make coffee on my truck. I looked for something that would not need a lot of space to store, not fussy to use, easy to clean, and still make good coffee.I have used this Aeropress for a month now, and this ticks all the boxes! I even love the storage for extra filters on the bottom of the cup!Minimum storage footprint is a huge deal in a confined space. This Aeropress and a one pound bag of coffee fit in a small tote bag measuring approximately 10x10x4 inches, with room to spare for small items.I have never used a French press, but I have read it takes a while. With this Areopress, it takes longer to boil the water than to make the coffee! The coffee taste great; no bitterness at all!Cleaning is as simple as dump the grounds and filter, rinse, dry, put away. I do make sure I wipe the plunger to clean the grounds residue.I like this so much I use it at home! Having said that, my only complaint is when I want a huge mug of coffee, I still need to use my regular coffee maker…..or I can make two Aeropress cups of coffee. For really good coffee, I’ll make the two cups ð I will be getting a larger Aeropress for home use.

Possuo duas das três versões da AeroPress, a normal e a Go. Possivelmente compre a XL.

No ocupa mucho espacio. Si eres amantes de café y viajas mucho, super recomendado!

I have been looking for something to make me decent coffee at work because paying for a coffee at the nearby coffee shop is becoming quite costly, and the coffee shop has frustrating hours. I initially bought a Keurig machine, but after trying several different coffee pods, I just donât like it. The coffee always tastes stale or bitter it seems. Also, buying all these pods seems so wasteful. I then tried an ordinary French press, but the coffee tends to be too bitter even if I donât wait for the recommended 5 mins before pressing. Perhaps the press I bought is low-end. A basic coffee machine was ok but not great. It wasn’t extracting the coffee properly, so the coffee tasted diluted, and if I add more coffee in the basket, it tasted bitter and still not fully flavourful. Finally, I heard about the Aeropress. I decided to buy the GO for its compactness and ease to carry around. Also, it apparently made good coffee. So, my experience using it for the first time was quite satisfying. It makes coffee quickly, and the extraction is even. The system removes the potentially excessively bitter or burnt notes. You get a clean-tasting cup of coffee. Now, if you like coffee that tastes bitter or burnt, you might not like the Aeropress, but personally, I can very much do without a burnt or excessively bitter taste in my coffee. The Aeropress GO is almost perfect, but there are a few tweaks that could have made it even better. First, it would have been nice if the cup had some markings inside for 250mL and whatnot. Second, I would have liked the red silicon lid to have an opening to make it like a coffee sippy cup. Third, I would have liked the cup shape to fit more snuggly the brew body part. Thereâs a bit of a gap which makes for a bit of wobble when you press down. All in all, I am happy with this product. I will definitely be making frequent use of it. Minor tweaks could have made it even better, but it is quite good the way it is currently.

A nicely made double walled cup with a decent lid. The AeroPress mech and all parts stow inside for travel. Spare filters are fitted in the base so you always have some with you. It all fits together well and works well. A nicely thought out product. You pay more than the basic versions but itâs so much better. The only criticism is the limited range of colours.
