Works like new
I had been using my Javapresse for about two years and it was taking a lot longer to grind beans. This tune up kit makes it as good as when it was new.

Works fine
Honestly, I didnât notice a significant difference between this & the original one that came with my little coffee mill. It does what itâs supposed to though. If I could go back I probably wouldnât spend the extra money on the upgrade. I will probably upgrade to a better machine at some point.

Seemingly not for older Javapresse hand grinders.
As much as I wanted this to work, it does not seem compatible with older versions of the manual grinder. My Javapresse grinder is from 2016, and this replacement burr seems to have much wider tolerances in the plastic insert where the rotating shaft goes through, which when the grinder meets the smallest amount of resistance causes the wings on the shaft to strip the plastic out. Maybe the newer grinders from Javapresse have different internals to fill those tolerances, but this definitely did not work, and broke on it’s first use, for me.

This grinder is the best, and replacement burrs are better
Love this grinder; it makes all the difference in preparing espresso, really great espresso. To be able to replace the burrs makes it that much better.

Worth it
This new burr made a noticeable difference in the time it take to grind my coffee, side of ground coffee is consistent size too.
Oleksandr Pyvovarov –
Chinese piece of junk
Bought this burr as a replacement for my Porlex tall grinder. It fits well, but totally unusable – it is crooked a bit at one side, and that makes coffee grinding extremely inconsistent. Do not recommend.
