ROASTED COFFEE

Fresh Roasted Coffee Has Gone Solar!
By setting a bold new standard for what’s possible in the coffee industry, Fresh Roasted Coffee is leading the way toward a more sustainable future. This achievement not only reduces our carbon footprint but also positions the company as a trailblazer in renewable energy and sustainable business practices.

WHY DO WE ONLY ROAST ON LORINGS?
Loring roasters also benefit from a closed-loop system, meaning the process is almost entirely automatic and self-regulating. Instead of constantly reheating the ambient air in the roaster, Lorings recirculate the heat, requiring less energy to reach ideal roasting temperatures. This translates to more Fresh Roasted Coffee for you and less burned coffee that goes to waste.

NITROGEN FLUSH
It’s no mystery that coffee starts to lose its freshness right after roasting. To combat this and extend the life of your coffee, we immediately package, nitrogen flush, and seal each bag. Nitrogen is a naturally occurring, non-reactive, food-safe gas that’s heavier than air, which forces flavor-stealing oxygen out before your bag is sealed tight.

Happily placing SECOND ORDER of an even larger variety pack!
I won’t repeat my headline but that says it all. I love the variety and I clamp each bag leaving them out on my kitchen cI won’t repeat my headline but that says it all. I love the variety and I clamp each bag leaving them out on my kitchen counter. When I open each bag, even if only one pod is left, the aroma is heaven. I’m buying a larger amount from 4 varieties originally to 6. I only wish it would be a faster delivery. I can really appreciate the coffee as I have Peet dark roast and wanted to get medium and I tried this. Well due to the shipping time I bought a brand of donut coffee I always liked. This time…not really!! I am already adjusted to the fresh taste and that aroma when you open a full or bag with one pod,,,,so nice,; it makes it more of an experience. So I read the reviews and noticed people were having trouble with the pod and coffee expulsion. So today, actually, I had one pod that was not as rounded on the bottom and I didn’t think it would matter. Well, the creased soft bottom was exactly where the mechanism would have to poke through. I got “something other than not” a good cup of coffee so I dumped it and started again. So I believe if you do the following on this type of pod it should help the problems. As I said, the soft bottom may not maintain its full bowl shape. I suggest this 5-8 second remedy: take out the pod and if it’s not fully shaped out in the soft pod area, merely shake holding it by the edge of the pod gently and it should fill right out and be round and relatively firm. Shake the pod IN THE AIR not hitting it on the counter or anything. Again, the coffee is still in there, it hasn’t disappeared, you just need to cause it to even and fill itself out a bit. It should literally not take more than 5 secs or 5 shakes but whatever you understand my recommendation. AND DO THE SHAKING BEFORE INSERT THE POD INTO THE MACHINE. The new Keurig, when it closes, inserts five (5) sharp holes into the pod top (vs. one hole in the original model) to allow more water into the coffee grinds and 1 larger or seemingly larger hole in the soft pod which when wet without the plastic it may stretch and let coffee grinds seep if not packed and formed a bit. (The 5 holes…remember how the coffee grinds were only partially used and dry all around the pod. This change a couple yrs back really was a great, needed innovation. That’s another reason to have your pod why I recommend mild shaking enough to fill out and kind of pack the loose coffee into the soft base. (Sorry for the overkill). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE COFFEE PODS VARIETY PACK to start. I do not have a favorite yet despite being virtually done w my 1st order.

Burst pods
I purchased these to use in a Keurig 2.0. The first two burst dumping grounds into the difuser and cup. On the 3rd try I was able to swing the exit needle away and lock it. I put a pour-over filter on top of the cup to catch any sediment, just in case. Even after isolating the needle, it stil burst, dumping grounds. At least the pour-over filtered it out. I will not purchase any more of these, and will cut the reamining pods open and use them in the pour-over filter. I left 1 star because I still got coffee out of it.

Yummy! Love it
I really like this coffee. It tastes really good and I enjoy actual coffee, not creamer (aka I drink it black). I appreciate that itâs organic, itâs in paper and not plastic, and I need half caff right now as Iâm pregnant and caffeine is making me feel sick, but im too tried to not have any coffee.

Great Coffee. bad packaging concept
We have a Cuisinart brewer that accepts K-Cups or whole beans. However, the K-Cups do not fit, and Cuisinart was not specifically mentioned in the âdonât useâ category. We purchased K-Cups as a trial to give to less discerning friends or relatives in case we did not like the coffee before we acquired a substantial quantity of beans that most people cannot use.The packaging preserves the coffeeâs freshness but lacks environmental sustainability. We tear a hole in the paper filter bottom and pour the grounds into the ground coffee holder. Opening the sealed packages and pouring out the ground coffee is a cumbersome process, but we can accommodate this order. We never intended to purchase this product again; our sole objective was to sample coffee from this region. Once brewed in the ground coffee brew cup, the coffee exhibited a pleasant aroma and taste. It is a high-quality coffee, and we may consider purchasing this brand of whole beans if they become available in a city roast.really it’s 5 stars for the coffee itself, but two stars for the packaging or at least for not having a comprehensive brewer list.

Not too bad, better than I first thought
I tried this in my Keurig using the 6 oz smallest setting and my first cup was weak tasting. Iâve brewed it a few more times since then and it seems to have a better taste. The paper cup seems to be bigger but with less grounds than other brands Iâve bought. Iâm not quite sure if I will buy this again.

They bust open
About half the time. I have to make coffee, pour it out, clean coffee maker, make another cup of copy and hope that one doesnât bust too.I take that back. Iâm trying to make 2 cups of coffee this morning and, so far, 3 have busted open. If you do the math, Iâve had to 1 cup of coffee and 3 messes to cleanup. Letâs hope the next one actually makes some coffee. Nope! I am now up to 4 broken and 1 mug of coffee. I was unlucky. Iâve now got 5 broken pods and 1 cup of coffee. I give up. Iâve wasted 45 min on this. Switching to ground coffee now.The coffee is good though. I Italian roast
