If you have never had Cafe Du Monde Decaf…You are MIssing Out on a Treat
I fell in love with this coffee down in New Orleans. I love the taste of chicory, and very few coffees blend chicory in their coffee. This coffee is so delicious! I take it camping with me, make it at home on the stove, in the percolator, wherever. It is so good! And it’s decaf!!! Love this coffee!

Pretty good, a little bitter
While an acceptable product, it’s taste was a little bitter. I have been drinking Chicory “enhanced” coffee for a long while. When using self-packed k-cups, it is not nearly as good as a percolator made coffee, so when I am in the home I used my classic percolator.I found to my surprise when camping using this coffee on my camping equipment coffee maker (percolator old type) it was really good.What is good was through trial and error I found I did not have to use as much coffee as the other brands, (for my taste anyway).Plus is decaf…so case closed.

Cafe du Monde – always a winner
I first tried Cafe du Monde in 1986 and I love it. At that time, you could only find it sold in the Southern United States. This particular decaf blend is superb! If you’ve never tried roasted chicory in coffee, you might try it and be pleased with the extra depth and flavor. Chicory (and roasted chicory) has some gut health benefits you can research. I drink this daily. Without some chicory, coffee just tastes ‘plain’ to me!
