Work great. Saves tons of plastic, and you can use better coffee.
No one with a conscience or care about the environment should be using plastic K-Cups. I buy ground organic coffee and fill the cup to just over flush, tap it down on the counter (no pressure directly on the grounds) and brew 10 or 12 oz of coffee. Works great every time. I have a compost bin on the counter that I empty the wet grounds into. Not only does this save on an insane amount of plastic cups, I can use better coffee at probably a 75% savings from even K-Cups in bulk. If you are having issues with over flow, do not tamp down on the grounds. Just tap the cup against the counter a few times so that the grounds are level and about an 1/8″ below the top of the grounds container.

Works well and fits in our Quisinart single serve coffee maker. Not sure how long the plastic hinge will last but works fine for now. Use one for coffee and one for tea. Just tap the bottom and sides of the filter to release most of the coffee grounds and rinse to be ready for another cup. No plastic waste and can choose your favorite ground coffee vs. kcups.

I had tried reusable K-cup filters in the past and NOT had good luck with them, so I was hesitant to try again. However, I decided it was necessary to at least cut down on some of my planet-killing practices, so I bought these, and THEY WORK! No grounds &/or coffee spewing everywhere; THEY. JUST. WORK. So easy to fill and clean, and the price is super-reasonable. Highly recommend–just make sure you get the right ones for your particular coffee brewer!
