Gorgeous and Functional
I absolutely love everything about this matcha set! Whips up a great tea super fast using the cobalt blue glazed bowl with perfect spout and genuine Japanese bamboo whisk. Thereâs a perfectly shaped matching whisk holder/rest. Also included is the coolest tea holder/jar for powdered matcha. It actually has a cloth feature on the lid I can only assume is to keep the tea fresh. Looks and feels very authentic. The cherry on top is the cutest little whale I assume is a spoon rest or just a â tea petâ? Either way, heâs a beloved new member of the kitchen family. If you canât tell, this is my first traditional matcha set. Even as a beginner, I was able to make the most delicious cup of Matcha with no instruction whatsoever. That says a lot! I was surprised to see zero literature and not even a stamp on anything in this beautiful set. Itâs packed with expert precision and care in custom cut out foam in cardboard. Would make an excellent gift!Photos- I tried to capture the stunning glaze on the bowl. My favorite spot is right inside the tip of the spout itâs so satisfying. Also photo of the crackle glaze on the powder storage vessel which actually doesnât match the rest of the set but is pretty nonetheless. Also sorry, the set has a bit of matcha on it still from breakfast. The whisk is already starting to wear down since I donât know what Iâm doing yet and have been hard on it.

Beautiful Elegant Set
This beautiful set has everything you need (except the matcha itself) for making delectable matcha. It was perfectly packaged to prevent damage and the quality is very good.In this busy day and age, little rituals like tea making can create an oasis of calm in an otherwise hectic world. As a mom of four kids, finding little moments of calm is so important. My college age kids also have their own matcha sets and love making it for their friends.This set is of a wonderful quality. The glazing and colors are beautiful. I love that it comes with the little whale to hold the bamboo scoop. This would make a wonderful gift or a special treat to give yourself.
