Must have
I bought this on a whim, figured it was cheap enough that if it didnât work I wouldnât care. Well I did not clean my grinder as I should have and I stopped spraying the beans before grinding so it started hoarding ground coffee. A few hard slaps of this bad boy and I got 17.9g out of 18.1g of coffee. I cleaned the grinder after. Iâm spritzing my beans again and slapping the grinderâs roof to get all my coffee out every time.

Works with a Fellow Opus
I just bought a Fellow Opus and, while it is a great grinder with anti static technology, it still has some residual grounds.I looked on YouTube and one of these reviewer actually recommended giving a machine a couple of slaps on the hopper after each use, which seemed unnecessary violent and probably will damage the machine over time.Instead, I was looking for a bellow but, to my surprise, there isn’t an aftermarket option for the Opus. Undeterred, I bought this one that is made for the OXO grinder. The fitmeant isnt perfect, but I did manage to get a very tight seal and got the bellow working. So, for Opus owners out there, this ~$10 bellow is definitely recommended to get the most out of the grinder!

Simple, effective solution.
If you have the OXO grinder, get this. Itâs a no-brainer. It huffs the last little bit of grounds out of the chute and (especially if youâre grinding really fine espresso coffee) keeps it from getting clogged. Super convenient as it just becomes a permanent addition to the grinder. The -1 star is because you have to use the original cap from the grinder (fits the top of the bellows) and it isnât super-secure so it pops off. They should include a lid that screws on or otherwise attaches more securely than the one from the grinder.

Saving me money by using less coffee
One thing that I disliked about my coffee grinder was the need to add a 2-3 grams more coffee than I needed for my morning coffee dose. Even after adding a the extra coffee I still had to shale the grinder a few times, which was tiresome. 2-3 grams of coffee per pot more means a lot when buying specialty coffee. Now that I have this I can add .5-1 extra gram of coffee and get 99% of it in the output. I use 60 grams of coffee to 1000 grams of water, I can put 60.5-61 grams into the grinder.Less waste, more coffee, happy wallet.

This is the answer
This is the answer to the oxo conical grinder’s biggest down side – retention.A few presses of the bellows whilst it’s at the end of it’s grind cycle, and I’m getting within .1 grams of what i put in, back out. Usually, the full amount, even.Highest, highest recommendation. Saved me from some very expensive upgrading.

Not worth it
Didnât really work. Itâs annoying to get the lid on it and it doesnât really force any grounds out.

So glad I got this!
This bellows is really useful for clearing out the leftover grounds! I use it all the time. Itâs amazing what comes out of the grinder when you pump this, that would otherwise be sitting in there clogging things up.

Is necessary, but does not work perfectly.
It is essential, because otherwise a lot of grounds are left in the machine, but it does not always stay in place. It gets most of the grounds retained in the machine, but when weighing before & after grinding, sometimes a gram or two is still left inside & will show up after grinding the next morning.
