    Works well!
This is great for making tea or cold brew coffee. You can speed up the process by putting boiling water through it and letting it cool down to near room temp before putting in the fridge to chill. Or you could just put cold water in and let it steep in the fridge for 24hours. It is well made and we haven’t had any problems with this product.

    Great filter!
It’s so hot outside and cold brew hits the spot! I had been using paper filters to cold brew my coffee. It took a long time (around an hour or two) to filter. I had to change the paper filters often due to the grounds clogging it. It was messy and wasteful. This filter fits perfectly in my jar. The silicone seal instructions left me a little confused, but I found a video to show how to use them. The thinner/flatter silicone seal is the one to use if you don’t have their special lid. It has a slit in the seal that fits around the lip of the metal filter. Put the coffee in the filter, add water, close, put it in the fridge. Easy peasy! Thank you for a quality product that cuts down on my time spent filtering and wasted paper filters. I’ll be ordering a second one so I can have multiple cold brews at different stages.

    Works Great but can rust.
This filter works a lot better than expected. I’ve tried other filters that were made for tea but the mesh wasn’t tight enough for coffee grounds. This filters out everything but the finest dust from the grinding process. My only complaint is when I washed it, I sat it upside down on a metal rack to dry and it rusted on the sealing surface. The mesh part was fine.

Easy, minimal mess for cold brew making
I hesitated to spend money on this jar system, BUT as someone who always makes a mess or spills their cold brew, this had made it so much easier. When my cold brew is ready, I can dump the spent grounds right into my compost pile. I’m not spilling it anywhere while trying to filter the grounds into another container, etc. I’ve had my jar for almost a year and I’ve had no issues cleaning it, off tastes or smells or breakage. I highly recommend giving this product a try.

    Never use cheesecloth again!
I was trying to get in to doing my old cold brew, and everything I found online talked about using cheesecloth to strain the brew. Cheesecloth worked ok, but I didn’t like that it was disposable (trying to save money by DIY), and it was more labor intensive. This stainless mesh filter was the answer to all the negatives I was encountering with cheese cloth. Even though I was hesitant about the price (again, trying to save money here), this filter seems to be of high quality and I foresee getting a lot of use out of it. It also saves time with every batch I make, and time is money. I highly recommend this filter, and I love that it’s made in USA.

    Love this!
I bought this as a cold brew filter – which it works excellent! I love that it comes with different gaskets for either their lids (which I use exclusively- they are awesome) or a regular mason jar lid. Now that it is summertime, I have also used it as a loose leaf tea infuser for sun tea. Not only does it work great but it is SO easy to clean. Most tea infusers are hard to clean because the leaves get stuck in the holes but this one has such fine holes that is not a problem. I just empty it and rinse it and voila – no stuck tea leaves! So far I have loved everything I’ve bought from this brand! Highly recommend!!!!

    This filter works beautifully!
After trying two other types of filter, which were quite messy to empty, I read the reviews on this one and bought it. And I`m very glad I did! It certainly is the best by far for my cold brew. It`s easy to fill, easy to empty and the coffee tastes great—– cleaning is easy too. I`ve only used it for three brews so far, so I can`t offer any opinion on how it holds up with long-term usage, but this has the others beat in every way, and I`m delighted with it. P.S. I got the 64 oz mason jar size, and the filter fits the jar to perfection, unlike the others I tried.

Used Costco’s LavAzza beans very finely ground (already in freezer when I purchased this 32-oz product). Prepped a batch on my counter overnite (not in fridge). No need to completely close the drinking lid (which is very tight). Was able to re-use my VitaMix’d fine-grounds (like a powder) for a 2nd batch & ended up with 64 oz of concentrate which I store in a 64 oz glass jug, of which I use 2 oz per 10 oz filtered water (320 oz of coffee at that strength). Love the cost effectiveness & it’s soooooo yummmm. There was some sediment from my 2nd batch because I stirred well the used grounds. This made for a very strong concentrate, which blended well with the 1st batch. These grounds deodorized my compost bucket & ended up mulching my flower baskets. More money saved!Actually I have other wide mouth Mason 32 oz jars but this product’s lid doesn’t fit them (too big). Have noted recommended beans in the Comments & will try in future. Appreciate. Strongly recommend the 32 oz product! (The 64 oz will not fit some fridges.)Will also use for soup this winter.

I love this so much but after trying to get as much if the coffee out of the grounds (I’ve seen people do it) but squeezing gently near bottom there is now a hole. I’ll run the coffee through a smaller tea filter I have that’s pure metal to get grounds out.I was also dealing with the coffee “slug” at bottom of coffee/jar as wellI know this is my fault but you would think it wouldn’t happen so fast.I’m planning on purchasing new filter though

Got into flavoured cream cold brews at Starbucks. But found they were expensive, too sweet and, frankly, too rich for my tastes. Even having them eliminate and lower amounts for what was added, still left me not totally happy. So decided to attempt brewing my own cold brew at home. This has been a perfect solution as I can taste test my way through the making of them to suit my tastes and moods. Only drawback was I had an imperfect straining system rigged up. Discovered this setup when I went searching through Amazon and was very taken with the positive reviews. I honestly just received it and strained my first batch yesterday. Was so much simpler and brewed a fabulous tasting batch! Am looking forward to many delicious cold brew concoctions through the warm months ahead.
