Expensive? Yes! Worth it? We think so! We’ve talked about getting a real coffee machine for many years. Now we’ve done it! Enjoying our fancy coffees every single day. We use freshly roasted beans, coconut milk and stevia for our sweetener so the drinks are delicious but not full of calories.

Different level coffee experience
This machine makes the best coffee, espresso, macchiato, cold brew, etc., that I have had in my life. Amazing crema from 2% milk. Excellent self-cleaning functions and it looks great. We use Odin Force whole coffee beans from Death Wish. The hefty price is justified by what the machine does.

Easy to use automated espresso machine that easily produces high quality espresso beverages!
First of all, let me explain that this is my first espresso machine. I have always enjoyed espresso-based drinks but generally limited them to just a latte or americano once a month. Espresso based drinks at a retail shop were just not convenient for me, and they get expensive when you drink them regularly. I usually am satisfied with plain drip coffee and I figured that while I would have my favorite espresso-based drinks more often that it really wouldn’t change my coffee habits dramatically. I was so wrong!So, I ordered this being a bit of a skeptic. I quickly became a wholehearted convert. What had held me back for so long was I saw espresso machines as being complicated and a bit fussy. I didn’t want to spend the time learning how to get my coffee drink the way I wanted and I was always in a hurry to get to that first cup in the morning.After a quick setup – I didn’t read the big manual and instead just used the quick start guide – I discovered that making great coffee drinks with this unit was absurdly easy, and quick! I could push a button and everything was automagically done for me. I could obtain my coffee drink FAR more quickly than going through the trouble of firing up my drip coffee maker. It was a revelation!I do advise going through the “big manual”, eventually. While the pre-programmed recipes handle all of the basics, it is nice to be able to customize drink volumes and how strong you want to have your extraction. Conveniently, there are spaces for 3 profiles so that your household members can each customize their drinks to suit their tastes.While it is incredibly easy to use, it does require a little attention from time to time. While the unit is largely self-cleaning, you will need to clean out the waste coffee bin and drip tray regularly. You will also need to clean your milk container on a regular basis. The unit comes with a water filter and with a packet of descaler solution to clean out mineral buildup. I use reverse osmosis water to fill my water tank – so I shouldn’t need to descale the unit very often – but descaling IS important. One suggestion that I suggest that you follow is to MAKE SURE to test your water with the included water hardness level detection strip and then adjust the unit’s settings to account for that! It will save you from having to descale frequently if you have soft water.I am very pleased with this unit – it has dramatically changed my coffee-drinking experience!
