The tamper alone is worth the price of the whole set.
I really like the feel of this tamper in my hand. It is very nicely machined. The spring is calibrated to 30lbs, which I find works pretty well in my portafilter. The self-leveling rim ensures the puck is formed parallel to the top of the portafilter and the concentric grooves seem to help with water distribution. The puck screen works quite well for keeping the group heads clean. The dosing funnel doesn’t do all that much to help, but the WDT tool is my favorite of those I’ve tried, partly because of the extremely convenient magnetic stand. The pros of this set make it a worthwhile buy.

This tamper set is made with excellent materials. The tamper itself has some good weight and the spring helps to get the coffee grounds nice and compact. It fits perfectly and I love the added accessories too! Well worth the price.

This kit is the perfect supplement to any beginner espresso machine with its basic tools. All these pieces are well made and well finished. Not only functional but helps to elevate and simplify the experience.The magnetic dosing ring, makes sure to keep the process neat no ring slippage happening here. The dispersing tool is well made an the needles are sturdy, never mind the efficient magnetic stand that helps to ensure the needles stay clean and straight. The smooth mechanics on the tamper make compressing the expresso an easy task. Once ALL those tools are incorporated the last step is so underrated, using the screen makes an incredibly creamy product. Absolutely worth the purchase.

Works great and fun to use.
To me, this makes making espresso sort of like a ceremony, the way you have tea ceremonies in Asian cultures. I enjoy cooking and trying to create high quality food and drink at home. This set allows me to take my espresso to the next level. That said, that level is only slightly better, though nonetheless better.One of the best features of this set is the “funnel” with the magnets that attaches to your espresso extraction cup. It really does help to avoid making a mess with the grounds. The tamper does a good job packing the grounds and the puck helps to make a even extraction.One suggestion to the manufacture though, is that while they may a little stand for the wire whisk, but I would have liked a stand to hold the whole set.

I use them everyday, they are great.They work well.They look good.The tamper does it job to the “T”.The distributor works exactly how it should, the magnetic storage is great!The screen is great, definitely tell the difference in the quality of extraction!The collars magnet works great, it snaps right to the the porta filter, and makes it so much simpler to fill from the grinder!Like I said I use them both daily and love them all equally!

I bought this to compliment my new espresso machine. The info said the tamper would fit a 51mm portafilter, but it didnât fit mine. Aside from the tamper everything else was fine-but I sent it back because of the tamper.

The funnel is too small for 51mm. Wdt is too tight. The tamper doesnât calibrate well. Not worth the money. But looks durable
