Itâs the replacement part
If you have been using your cold brewer enough to need a replacement then you probably like it. This part is good for when the old filter gets clogged up or gross.

Takeya 1 Quart Filter for Cold Brew Coffee Maker (Replacement Filter) Tech Support
First of all, I love the Takeya 1 Quart Cold Brew Coffee Maker. It makes a great cup of cold brew. I take it on trips so I can always have my cold brew. After several years the filter started to let coffee grinds into the coffee. I ordered the Takeya 1 Quart Filter for Cold Brew Coffee Maker (Replacement Filter). It worked fine. However, I noticed that the glue attaching the filter mess to the plastic body was coming undone. I contacted tech support, sent them pictures and they sent me another filter. Thank you Tech Support. Job well done.

Filter becomes plimsy allowing coffee grounds into your coffee.
The replacement cost is very costly, I had only use the cold brew set for a few months before the filter became plimsy. I had another another cold brew filter that I had from a previous cold brew coffee maker. I think I am just going to use the other coffee filter instead of purchasing a new one.
