A bit smelly, but useful
We bought these to use in the kitchen, but the weird smell from the wood covers was over powering every time we opened them up, so they sat in the shed for a few months holding non foods.Even now, after 6 months of airing out, the wood still has a faint acrid smell.

This may or may not be a deal breaker for you, but it’s important to know that you can’t pick these jars up by the lid, the seal isn’t strong enough to support its own weight let alone when it’s full. You’ll need to seal the wood yourself with some food grade wood wax or oil as the lids and spoons come rough (might even want to give it a quick sand), and the glass is a little thin. Aside from all of that, they’re a good size for the price, very aesthetically pleasing in the kitchen, and are still worth the purchase.

These are a nice size but thin glass and seems like they would break easy. Lids fit semi-snug, dont try picking it up by the lid as it will slip.
