Great Portable Expresso maker
Value for your money when you buy the set with the coffee grinder. Its portable and can take it anywhere with you to have an expresso. You might not get the froth or crema the first time, so you need to practice making the expresso, then you’ll get the hang of it. Make sure you unlock by unscrewing the top portion then you can push the top to start pumping. Whrn it starts getting harder to push and then you’ll get that froth on the top. My husband loves it. It is easy to use once you get the hang of it. I bought 2 sets, one for my husband and another one for my daughter.

This is a nice set and my first manual one. First off, you are not taking this backpacking as it is hefty which implies it’s built to last.It’s easy to use and uses some type of coffee pod as well.Will post an update after my three week roadie…

Great portable espresso!
This is a great system for making espresso on the go and would get four-and-a-half stars, if I could give it. Clean-up is a bit of a pain, but if you use pods then it’s not so bad. The espresso maker is well constructed and produces a nice cup, especially if you follow the directions and give 10 pre-pumps and then let the coffee saturate before continuing pumping. I like the fact that the unit takes both beans and pods. I also like the fact that it does not use electricity. It is a great system for car camping and perhaps canoe camping, though it’s all much too heavy for me to consider putting in my backpack for a longer trek. I like the fact that the system comes in a sturdy carrying pouch that keeps the grinder and espresso maker well protected. I brought this unit on an annual trip that I do to a ski house and a French friend was positively thrilled that she can now get a morning espresso (she’d not been drinking the drip coffee that we otherwise had).So why not five stars? The reason that I have given this set four rather than five stars has to do with the grinder that’s provided in the set. It’s a very good grinder and precisely engineered, but I do not like the fact that I have to unscrew the bottom to get to the coffee, nor do I like the fact that the handle sticks way out. I have another similar grinder that has a silicone gasket in the bottom so that the coffee chamber can simply be pulled off rather than unscrewed. Also that grinder has a spring-loaded handle that folds in half and snaps into place so that it takes up less counter space and is better balanced if left out on the counter. I think that it has a much superior design. So although this grinder is very good, it’s not five stars. Because of this I’d give the whole set four-and-a-half stars, if I could.To conclude, I’d recommend this STARESSO portable espresso maker for anyone who enjoys an espresso, and especially for travel; it makes great portable espresso!

A very good tools set for coffee beginners
I first get in touch with the coffee beans grinding, and this set helps through all the procedures from beans to espresso. The size is portable and meanwhile durable, very good for trip and homemake coffee. It has no bettery so do not need to worry about the battery life.

Works with ground espresso, or Nespresso pods
So let me start by saying that this is a bit time-consuming to clean and reset for multiple uses and probably is best to let sit out in air for quite a while before packing it away as far as traveling or camping is concerned this is a lot easier to use them our French press Now if youâre using the Nespresso pods, the cleanup is much simpler but the drying time still applies. One thing that I will note is to make sure you follow the directions and give it five or six pre-pumps and let the water sit and saturate before continuing to pump the rest of the liquid into the Bottom chamber if you try to pump straight from beginning to end without pausing to saturate, youâre not gonna get great results. This does produce a good amount of creme. Further expanding on the cleanup portion. If you are making coffee for two or three people at your campsite with us it is a little bit difficult whistle low water situations like camping to clean it out. If youâre at home around your kitchen sink you can just rinse it in a couple seconds but if youâre Using a limited water supply out on a camping trip. Itâs a little bit more challenging but again this challenge is the same challenge. I would face with my French press brewing and having a limited water supply to clean the grounds up at the end. Now, the coffee grinder that comes with it I really like the fact that the top Screws onto the grinder in the handle attaches after the top is screwed on most coffee grinders the entire top and handle or one piece and just attached by pressing it on and pulling it off which I have had a couple of times accidentally popped the top off and spilled the contents accidentally with other grinders. This just goes to ensure that if you put your coffee beans in the grinder and screw the top on, youâre not going to have to worry about the handle, accidentally getting bumped or caught on some and easily popping off and spilling the contents.Lastly, the travel case that it all comes in, is nice quality⦠And opens easily houses everything snuggly and protective
