Well made and easy to use
I love coffee but every-time we go camping I have no easy way to make it. This is by far the simplest system Iâve found and itâs very well made. Itâs metal and can be used with water directly on the fire, I used a jet boil and dumped the water in because it was easier. The coffee turned out great with no grinds. The unit has a simple coffee press system made of a heavy duty plastic. Itâs very light weight and easy to pack. It would work great if you are hiking a long way. You first place the amount of coffee in the bottom, I did about 2 tbsp. Then I poured in boiling water (if you boil on fire you will want to boil the grounds with it). I then waited about 5 min then used the press. Coffee turned out perfect. Clean up was super easy. The screen usually is the worse part to clean but this one was easy.

This is the coffee make you need. If you add a clean food approved sponge to the mix or even a coffee filter you can filter out the coffee even more itâs honestly the best thing. This Stanly coffee maker does not only work for coffee but it works to make teas too. Know that the quality isnât cheap either. Itâs pure stainless steel and youâll have no problem washing and cleaning. Iâd say put it under fire by removing the sticker thatâs under the coffee press. Put in heat/low heat after removing the sticker, I say put in fire to remove any type of stress from the steel or bacteria even if you washed or rinsed off. Awesome for Camping or Power Outages!
This is a fantastic portable French Press for camping or emergency situations. It holds way more liquid than you usually see out of French Press units, so it’s great for traveling or making for more than one person. The material itself also makes it extra durable which is convenient, and the press itself seals well without liquid passing up the sides easily. The handle is a little loose on the horizontal movement, I would have liked to have seen it clamped a little tighter so it didn’t move around as much when trying to grip it, also have to be careful that you don’t immediately touch it if you’re using it over a flame as it can get hot, but it is secure, and the folding feature makes it extra convenient for portability. The screen itself is actually pretty good, if you are using a drip grind, there will be a little bit of sediment in there, but it’s not terrible. Would recommend more of a coarse grind if that’s not your thing, plus it helps prevent the filter from getting clogged and pushing fluid out the top instead of passing through the screen. All in all, this is a fantastic design, and for even the capacity alone I would definitely recommend it!

Brilliant!
Took it for a test drive this weekend at an endurance ride. I have a single burner camp stove and the combo worked perfectly! Excellent coffee in a hurry- easy to use, easy to clean. I flipped the handles out before heating the water and they did not get hot. Only minor gripe is that I had to pour the coffee slowly so that it wouldnât run outside of the pour spout. An essential item in my ride kit!

Works well, well built
Got this Stanley coffee maker for car camping and it works well so far. Heats up quick and seems a fairly heavy gauge SS. The lid has a rubber seal but is open for pouring. Only complaint is that once you pour out about half the coffee it seems to leak around the edge if you pour too fast. Otherwise, great product.

This thing works great while out camping! We like Cafe Bustelo strong coffee and using this while camping is a must! This and the Aeropress make very rich and strong coffee!This is almost better than the Aeropress because you can use just the tin to boil water!

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of coffee this makes. Oftentimes, a French press can make the coffee a bit grainy, especially those that are more affordable. Not only was this a very reasonable price, but I love the strength and texture of the coffee it makes. I even use it at home instead of my regular coffee machine, just putting it directly on the stove top. It makes a good sized cup of coffee for how small and light it is, a great combination for camping or rv-ing. We use it as a simple kettle as well to make teas and hot chocolates. It holds up well to travel, and is easy to clean when youâre in the field.

Darf in keinem Campingurlaub fehlen. Jedes mal wird die Kanne eingepackt. Macht guten Kaffee und hält lange warm. Easy zum bedienen und die Qualität ist top.

Makes great coffee and is well made. Not sure how long the rubber seals will last though and be aware this is huge. Not something for backpacking but more for packing in the car for camping trips
