Exceptional Light Roast with Robust Flavors.
I donât usually associate this kind of flavor profile with most light roasts. However, this specific light roast stands out with its amazing robustness and a fair amount of intensity, which beautifully highlights the chocolate and cherry notes. The complexity and richness of the flavors are truly exceptional for a light roast, making it a unique experience. It’s easy to see why it has earned an 80+ cup score. The combination of being both flavorful and smooth makes it highly drinkable and enjoyable. Itâs quite rare to find a light roast with this much depth, and it certainly surpasses my expectations. The beans themselves are a pleasing mid-brown color and are not oily at all. This is a big plus for me, as it prevents clogging my grinder with unnecessary oils, ensuring a smoother grinding process and maintaining the grinder’s longevity. The lack of oil also contributes to a cleaner brewing process, which enhances the overall quality of the coffee. Overall, this light roast offers a delightful balance of robust flavors and smooth texture, making it a standout choice for coffee enthusiasts who appreciate a high-quality light roast.

Full of Flavor
This coffee surprised me with how bold it tastes for a light roast. I usually drink medium or dark roasts, but I really enjoyed the smooth, rich flavor. The chocolate and cherry stand out without being too strong. The beans were fresh, and they ground well for my coffee maker.

A solid coffee with nice afternotes
I’m not a coffee connoisseur but do drink it regularly. I found this to be more of a medium roast because it had a little bitterness to it but still enjoyed it a lot. I could get hints of chocolate and maybe cherry. It made a nice cup of cappuccino for me. Not my absolute favorite but still a good bean.I’m giving it a 4 since even for WF the price seems higher and there are comparable other ethical single origin brands for a little cheaper, so I wouldn’t necessarily choose this over others.

Wow! What a surprising flavor from a light roast coffee!
As we are medium and dark roast lovers, I was a little hesitant to try the Guatemala coffee from Whole Foods, but I was so wrong!!!! This is actually a great tasting coffee that tastes like a medium roast, so we were pleasantly surprised and can see why it rates such a high score! I’m not much of a connoisseur when it comes to detecting fruits, but I can definitely taste the chocolate and toffee tones – this is so much better than a normal light roast coffee! We are blown away by this coffee bean and will definitely be buying more!

Exquisite flavor!
This Guatemalan coffee blend has to be one of my all time favorite. I think any true coffee lover should 100% give it a try because it has a unique flavor profile that is just so delicious. I ground up the beans in my coffee grinder and used a standard drip machine to prepare the coffee. When it was done and I had my first sip, I was amazed by how rich and deep the flavor was. It tastes like something you would spend a lot of money for at a gourmet coffee house. It is a light roast, but it has a rich flavor.

A delicious light roast
This coffee is wonderful! The aroma when I opened the bag was so lovely and fresh, and it ground up easily in my coffee grinder. The beans appear and taste very fresh and a cup taken black was aromatic, light, and energizing. It’s great taken plain or with your usual additions. I love the subtly deep flavor this has and will continue drinking it in the mornings.

Fresh, flavorful light roast
This review is for the Whole Foods Market whole bean Guatemala coffee. I am usually a medium roast drinker but these are excellent light roast beans. The beans were fresh and ground well, and the coffee was flavorful and delicious both black and with cream. As a single-origin coffee, I like that you know these are traceable to the source and certified by the Coffee Quality Institute. That makes me feel like these are better beans than just your random blend out there in a bag.

Very good
As others have said, this tastes more like a medium roast coffee than a light roast. This is good with us since we prefer a medium roast!I also like the hints of chocolate and cherry. It’s a nice change of pace from what I’m used to having. The only reason that I’m deducting one star is that this tastes a little too bitter for my wife and I.Your results may vary.
