Just so you know, this is a specialized single purpose tool designed for cutting 45 degree chamfer angles on tile, marble, stone, bricks, or wood, so be aware of that before purchasing. Whatever blade you can put on your grinder determines what material you will be able to cut through. A hose attachment nipple for a water line is built in. The angle shelf itself is not adjustable, though the stand has some adjustment capability to accommodate various-sized tools. Should be a handy addition for tile workers, or even DIYers who want to take the guesswork out of what theyâre doing. All steel bed is well made and steel tightening screws secure your tool without slippage from vibration and continuous use. Nice.

The tool I use will require some modification before it will mount properly on this cutting guide bracket, but I am so excited to get it up and running. I carve stone âmostly slabsâ and this tool will be a great aid in speeding up certain basic cutting tasks.

Handy for tile
I ordered this so I don’t need to rent one of those big tile cutters for when I finally start working on remodeling the bathroom to change out the 70’s era tile. This should work well for that. I do wish that the angle was adjustable so I could also use it for straight and not chamfered cuts on wood. I can cut wood with this but I have to modify the design because of the nonadjutale angle. Though for the price, it is a good buy just for the tile cutting for the shower.
