Bought the espresso on a whim, on sale. It is good! I love dark roast coffee, and I drink it black and unsweetened. This is strong, smooth, and bold but it could be stronger more stout, especially when labeled as espresso. Even so, I think it makes a good cup of coffee. I brew at 8 or 10 ounces. Brews just fine, so issues. I even tried it over ice and was pleasantly surprised that it held up to ice. Sometimes basic brewed coffee gets watered down tasting once paired with ice.While it is a dark roast, I think those that prefer medium roasts will also like this. It has such a smooth non acidic vibe that it could pass as a dark leaning medium. It IS a solid, “coffee tasting coffee”I am buying it again because the price is right. I dont rate on price, but I will comment that this is a budget friendly option without necessarily tasting budget friendly. I have only had a weeks worth so far, and have decided to go ahead and buy another box. Competitive at regular price, so much better at subscribe and save price, which I did.

Great coffee at a great price
I only bought this Espresso Roast from Double Donut because Amazon was out of the Dunkin Espresso Style Extra Dark Roast at one point, which had been my favorite kind of coffee, so I decided to try these instead. I was so pleasantly surprised that now I never plan to go back to the Dunkin ones. These are much less expensive than the name-brand ones from Dunkin, yet I think they taste just as good, or maybe slightly better, than the ones from Dunkin. I like that they have lots of flavor but aren’t bitter. Our Keurig has an iced coffee option too, and these taste fantastic either hot or iced.

Buying for yrs very disappointed
Not only did They changed the packaging but they also changed the product as well & not for the better!!The k-cups are a lighter color, but thatâs not all thatâs lighterâ¦the amount of coffee in the k-cup as well! I really hate when companies have a kick ass product, then they pinch pennyâs & destroy it by using less product! You donât mess with peopleâs coffee, Especially since their drinking an espresso roast, cause you have to know we r very serious about our coffee &even more so in the AM when weâre looking for that âget me up and go affectâ! Iâm so disappointed & all I have to say is âshame on youâ for trying to disguise this garbage as the great product your trying to pass this off as! UGH!PS I hardly ever write reviews, I hope more people who loved this coffee b 4, wright a review similar to this one!!!! WE WANT OUR STRONG COFFEE BACK!!!!! taste like Cleaners and Cardboard!
If I could give it 0 Stars I would, I ordered this one and another of their flavors they both tasted the same like lysol or some other type of cleaner ( not in a habit of trying to taste cleaners ) and of the box for some reason I had to throw them out as I was worried my teenage kids would try them and get sick ( Might have just been mine, not all ) but be aware that Amazon will NOT refund you if this happens to you, and they can be dangerous if this is how they do business.

Good flavor, but very weak. I only brew this in the smallest cup size on my coffee maker, because it’s so weak in flavor. If I make the largest size, it just tastes like flavored water. It smells great, and tastes good, but so weak.

I had bought the Double Donut Hot Cocoa on a whim and was really impressed by it (will review it separately) Since it was so good decided to try the K-cups. bout the assorted box and so far have not found a flavor we don’t like. there is no bitter aftertaste like most k-cups and if making one of the flavored coffees it makes my kitchen smell amazing.Highly recommend giving them a shot
