Only half a gram

Doesnât work.
This is clearly sold as an herb grinder, but it doesnât work. I was suspicious when, upon opening the machine, there were no grinding or chopping blades. Just a plastic flail. Nonetheless, I gave it a try.My first attempt was rosemary, which is always a problem for me. I donât like pulling little sticks out of my teeth. One of the photos shows the results after a full minute. A little dust, but mostly unground. I next tried an Herbes de Province blend, which is a bit softer. Clouds of dust came out of the machine from some of the softer elements. But the end result was about the same. Very little grinding.Sort of a sixties psychedelic light show while working. There is also a box of parts that is unexplained and not obvious.It doesnât work. Not recommended.

Inconsistent granulation
This is a powerful grinder that holds a good charge. It is fairly simple to load, but only a gram can be added at a time as the chamber is really small. The grinder comes with several nice accessories for those who use the grinder to grind substances to smoke. I think this is an interesting starting point for a good product, but the grinder is a bit problematic for me.My main concern is that it yields a very inconsistent granulation. Either large chunks of herb remain unground, or everything is obliterated beyond a useful function. The longer you grind something, the more dust is produced. The dust is so fine that much of it is unusable. I haven’t found the “sweet spot” where I can grind enough of a substance that is usable. If you are grinding anything that can be sticky or oily, its dust mixes with the sticky substance and adheres to the walls of the grinding chamber. The grinding chamber is difficult to clean for this reason.I’m not sure which herb or spice it can grind consistently well. I will keep trying, but I don’t think I should have to try so hard to get a product to work as expected.

Likes: – I really like the overall look – it’s the main reason for my purchase – Bladeless design was intriguing – the other reason for my purchase – Wireless/Cordless – Large yet compact – Neat and clean look – industrialDislikes: – Only works with very small volumes (1/4 container or about one cone) – Inconsistent grind – Incredibly noisy – the whole house will hear you grinding and maybe your neighbors too – Jams frequentlyI don’t roll but I decided to messed around with it and the design is pretty simple to understand (gravity fed) and, once seen, it’s obvious it will work fine.Final Thoughts:I really wanted to love this grinder but it’s such a pain to use because of how often it jams. The volume it can accept is very small so it’s easy to over-fill the chamber. Shaking it doesn’t help. Once the motor senses resistance it shuts down. In the end, I feel as though I’m spending more time and grinding less than I would if I just used my hand grinder.3 stars.

So darn easy to use!
Finally, a grinder that’s easy for a Senior to use. It’s not bulky or heavy. It all just snaps into place. Because of its small size, it’s only grinding a little so it’s fast. Plug in to charge which is a plus. Not hard to get all of the ground material out.
