Coffee is amazing. It’s no mere beverage. And we believe this just as passionately today as we did when we first brought our gourmet coffee to market over 100 years ago. Throughout the years, we’ve explored new varieties, changed our look, rolled out ground coffee and single-serving Keurig K-Cup® pod packs…but there are some things we’ll never change. For starters, the classic flavors inside our new bags remain untouched. All our whole bean and ground varieties continue to be crafted using only high quality, 100% Arabica coffee. All our roasting is done at our own facility in Maryland, USA, under the expert supervision of master roasters. We take coffee personally. We care about our craft. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

My Go To!
Iâve been drinking Eight Oâ Clock Coffee for decades. I am quite literally a coffee snob. I love my dark roasts, with rich full body flavor. This coffee, and French Roast are all I ever drink. This Italian dark roast is very smooth, and balanced. I use the whole bean for my espresso machine, and I always keep a bag of ground on hand for my husbands automatic drip coffee maker.I love the notes of chocolate in this coffee! We drink a lot of coffee, and I love that this one is dark and bold without being bitter and acidic. And we love the price!

Itâs lovely
Everyoneâs tastes buds are different but itâs hard to imagine not enjoying this. Smooth and balanced. Used this in my drip machine after shopping around for a bit. On a whim I purchased a moka pot and was shocked how much I liked it with my remaining supply. Tried other brands and roasts that are recommended for espresso/moka pots and I ended up having to add milk cream or sugar to balance out the flavors. So back to the original, maybe ignorance is bliss but this is perfect for me. The fact that itâs by far the least expensive is a bonus.

Fantastic deal and wonderful beans! Dark Italian Espresso
I just did something I never do. Subscribe to a Dark Italian Espresso every 2 weeks. After going through my first 1lbs, I fell in love with the flavor and creamy outcome. The beans and so dark and beautiful! Excellent!

Decent Coffee, and great value, but…
I’m not quite decided on this one yet. If you’re a straight drinker (no sweetener or creamer), then this may be the coffee for you. Its pretty smooth and at 32 ounces, it’s a tremendous value. However, I’ve been drinking whole bean, freshly ground, Starbuck’s Komodo Dragon for a few years, and it’s a little more flavorful. It could even be described as a little more “stout”, or stronger, and I really enjoy it with honey. It’s also a bit more expensive, and the primary reason why I’m trying other brands. “8 O’Clock” isn’t bad, I’m just accustomed to Komodo, and after years of a particular taste, I’ve developed a particular palate.

Great morning wakemeup
My go to everyday coffee. Never disappointed. Smooth, fruity, excellent strength for the roast, always fresh and invigorating.

Great tasting coffee !
I was low on my normal brand of coffee and I decided to try this one because of the low price . I was sceptical about the purchase because of the reviews I read . The bag of coffee was delivered and I cleaned my automatic drip coffee maker . Put fresh filtered water in and the coffee grounds like I always do in the morning . First cup to the last one was a delicious cup of coffee . I will be purchasing this brand again . 8 O’CLOCK coffee is really good ðð .

Always come back for more
This is always a favorite of mine. The taste is very good (I grew up drinking my mother’s leftover 8 o’c, so perhaps that is why I like it so much) and the price is also very good. Are there other decaf brews I like better – yes. But I always come back to 8o’c because for the money it VERY well worth it.

Great coffee
I have always preferred the Eight O’Clock brand over other coffee beans. These Espresso ones have a rich flavor; they smell as great when they are solid as they do when they are ground. A great cup of joe.

I have tried different brands of coffee, but none can stand up to eight O”clock. Far as I am concerned it is the best and I will stick with it.

This coffee is becoming harder and harder to find, especially at a reasonable cost. Hopefully we will be able to find it again.

One more opinion –
Ok, so as someone with review OCD you probably want to compare Kicking Horse decaf with this one, the Eight O’Clock Coffee Original Decaf, as that rates very slightly higher, but is a lot more per gram.Having bought both, and tried both (in addition to Campos Decaf available at the supermarket), I think this is the best combo of value and taste available. Campos is about 90-95% as good as this. And for whatever difference in taste that might be discerned, Kicking Horse is not worth the price premium IMHO. It’s still an excellent decaf, but I don’t rate it better and value wise this is far better.
