    Great coffee
This brews a great cup of coffee, for 1 person. Roughly 12oz at a time.I washed it once I got it, made coffee in it, without drinking any of it, to sorta “season” it. I then washed it again, made another round of coffee, and drink it…It turned out to be a great cup of Joe.Took it camping(fits in the side pocket of my backpack) I had others wanting me to make them coffee, due to the process and flavor it brings out in the coffee…I had a quart ziplock of BRC Tactisquatch coffee… I will definitely be getting another one of these little coffee makers.

    Esbit Stove Compatible
Fits fairly securely on top of my esbit solid fuel pellet stove which was a requirement, one fuel pellet processed a full tank of cold water into espresso in under ten minutes no issues great taste. I find no flaws with the device, everything fits and is well designed. I’d pay the extra for a titanium version for sure if one becomes available.

    Now my primary coffee maker!
I’ve always been looking for better options for camp coffee, and until now had settled on the aeropress, but the amount of steps and pieces involved in the process always made for some frustration if I didn’t have some sort of table to spread everything out on. When I discovered the nCamp moka pot, I had only vaguely heard of moka pots and wasn’t sure exactly how they worked or how good of coffee they made. But the nCamp design had one thing that instantly made me want to try it out: its compact design with folding handles and nesting mug. Having something that’s compact and self contained is critical in my choice of things to keep in my camp chuck box.On to the item itself. The design of the item is rugged and rough with an unpolished steel finish, but everything seems well made. Another reviewer mentioned a smell from the rubber cup sleeve, but I didn’t find any odor. For having never used a moka pot before, it was a very simple process to learn and put it to work. My first two batches turned out poorly as I left it on the stove for too long and the coffee started to boil, but once I learned to remove it from the head immediately when done, it’s been fantastic. The coffee is very strong with very little sediment and makes even cheap grinds taste great. I had been using it as my daily coffee option for two week to get used to its operation, but now I think it’ll be difficult to go back to my pour overs.Downsides:The handles are really close to the main body and are poorly insulated. This makes it slightly difficult to get an ideal pouring angle, and you feel the heat radiate through. I haven’t felt like it’s uncomfortably hot yet, but I can see how it might be if you don’t position it on your heat source perfectly. Also, the thumb lever on the top lid is very short and not insulated. It’s tricky to get it to lift, and while you’re fiddling with it it’s burning your thumb. Turns out though that despite how much I want to see inside the pot while it’s brewing, there’s really no reason to and the solution to this problem is just leave it be. Lastly, the steel mug can get HOT with the coffee inside. The sleeve insulates it well, but the bottom is still extremely hot, and the lip that you sip out of can be a bit uncomfortable first thing. I see this as a trade off though for durability if you’re trekking with it. Inside the house though, the mug will be my last choice to drink out of.All in all, a great coffee maker for anybody looking for a compact, durable, and tasty option for camp coffee, or even as a primary in home coffee maker. I don’t own the associated wood burning stove by nCamp so I can’t speak to how it works with that.

    Works great!
I was heading out on a trip lasting multiple weeks, I knew I would not have dedicated time to work out the use of a French press with my jetboil. Instead I found this product and it is truly the best camping purchase I have made in a while. It works great, provides 1 cup of coffee, and is super easy to clean. All I needed for my jetboil to work with this was an inexpensive attachment. I raved about the entire event and recommend it to everyone. Great product!

    Great for pack & camp
This lightweight set is good quality stainless steel and is clearly made to last. It nests in a nice single cylinder and holds itself together without need for support. I use a canvas cylinder bag and store the coffee, fire starter, and tinder in this same bag.The process is pretty much automatic once you fill it. I use it with a “Bush Buddy” and it does its thing with very little need to add wood during the process. The coffee is equal to what I make in my standard percolator and there is no waste to deal with afterwards other than biodegradable coffee grinds.I absolutely recommend this set, if it fits within the parameters of your pack or kit.

    Bulky for camping!
Made in China! The coffee ground basket is smaller than 6 cup Bialetti. Buy the Bialetti stovetop, better overall. You aren’t taking this backpacking! It’s large and bulky.

Quick, easy and simple to use. Lightweight and slim, so easy to carry. I used this for a camping trip. I watched a video online to make sure I knew how to use it. Brewed the coffee on s camping stove and it was ready in about 2/3 minutes. The design is great. Looks good, and the rubber on the cup saves your hand from getting burnt whilst allowing you to drink a good hot coffee

It just does not work. It gets hotter and hotter, but no coffee is produced and eventually the grounds burn.Very disappointed!!!

I’ve seen a real mixed bag from “it doesn’t work” to “it’s amazing” but was curious so took a punt.Yes it does work, if you leave it long enough, which will depend on your heat source. For me it took 30 minutes on a lotus grill on full heat (using room temperature water). It produced a full cup of coffee, (the quality of which will depend on the grounds you use). I don’t think it should take quite so long but if you’re camping and not in a rush, then what’s the issue? There are other alternatives out there and there is always the trusted thin kettle and Instant grounds, but if you like a strong cuppa and don’t mind the wait then I would recommend this product, it also looks awesome and packs away neatly

Disclaimer: I was sent this coffee maker to use, photograph and review.Really enjoyed using it – the main plus points for me are how compact it is (the mug slides over the top to save space), how stylish it looks (check my shots!) and how big it is. You can easily make strong coffee for four people with this thing. The large size is something to bear in mind if you’re thinking about chucking it in your daysack though.
