I initially hated myself for spending over 30 bucks on rubber mat, but actually saved some $$ from buying extra tamping stand since this mat is so dense that I donât need to worry about knocking and tamping my portafilter on my cheap laminated counter. Thick, durable, long lasting
I love this tamp pad. It is thick and robust feeling. It protects the counter very well. I purchased one for use in my very busy, high volume cafe and I am just now replacing it a full year later. Iâve had pads that lasted less than 2 weeks. Weâve pulled literally hundreds of thousands of shots in that time, and it just now needed replacing. Would highly recommend, excellent value.
