Beautiful, clean design, but one faulty lid
I purchased these canisters for my kitchen to hold coffee, sugar, etc. I am giving it four stars because I love the look of these, but one I received is not airtight. They are beautiful, simple, and go with our style really well. I looked everywhere for simple matte black and wood canisters and had a hard time finding the matte finish without any labels or words on the canisters themselves. The only bummer is that one of these (sometimes two) is not airtight. The lid does not stay on – it slides up and out of the canister. Its like the inside of the canister needs some type of tiny notch to keep the lid in place. Because it’s rubber against smooth ceramic it just slides out. It doesn’t come all the way off, but it definitely does not stay on all the way. See photo.

Small jar too small
I love these Jars. I use the bigger one for my coffee and the medium one for sugar. The small one is a little too small but I use it to hold my rings when I’m doing the dishes.

Sleek design, but splintery edge
I ordered two of these sleek looking containers, but disappointed that one lid is a rough on edge and will splinter.I think Iâll have to put some kind of coating on it to keep it from splintering. Kind of expensive to have to finish the edge.

Mini Canisters
Pay close attention to the sizes. These are not normal sized kitchen canisters. They are ridiculously tiny. If you live in a mini house and have a mini kitchen, these are perfect. You may be able to store a handful of thumb tacks in the small one. Otherwise, good for decor, not much more.
